Zach Blair & Donnie was our bassist & guitarist back in 89, 90.
We were called Harmzway back then.
We had a fucking blast.
Originals, Covers, and lotsa Jolt Cola.
So glad these guys made it.
Our buds from highschool got the fuck outta this town.
Became Hagfish, and got recruited to a couple of awesome bands.

I remember seeing these guys in a standing only , max capacity like 300 venue when I was like 15 in like early 2000's .. These guys are class acts , they play hard and interact with the audience . Love these guys

RA are comming to Chile and I'll see them in the side show on march. I know Tim doesn't have the power in his voices like other are telling here. But this is a band I been hearing since 2007-2008, and I'm happy that I'm going to see them performing alive in my country for a third time.

The 2012 Hurricane set is probably still the best theyve ever had but they are great at this festival. Wish they did it more often so more tours had a recorded version on youtube

I didn’t hear of this band until around 2015 or so but they are amazing and I would love to go see them. I’m 37 now and I used to love punk and still do. Rancid was one of my favorite bands so I’m really surprised that I didn’t hear of them until them but I’m glad I came across them.

Tive o prazer de ver o primeiro show no Brasil em 2011. Foi surreal. Um dos melhores dias da minha vida. A energia da banda toda estava a mil. Mas não vejo mais essa empolgação no Tim. Parece que ele está cantando triste e sem vontade. Que pena. Infelizmente uma grande pena.
É o cansaço da idade. 44 anos nos couros e uns vinte de carreira. Para uma banda de hardcore - que demanda muita energia - ele está ainda bem kkk.
Legal é o Brandon que sempre toca rápido e energicamente, mas é mó quietão e parado kk. Minha inspiração de baterista.

Foi mesmo eu acompanhei pela TV e foi muito bom mesmo, mas 50 minutos pra eles eh pouquíssimo. 2011 foi épico e acho que nunca mais terá igual
satellite is such a runner... but funny how he needs to speed up dramatically before singing, and in general a tad too fast but still amazing. and when crowd joins in and he has that small smile on his lips
The speech from tim before " make it stop" brings me to tears ❤️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ I'm so thankful that they speak up about this.
If you like Rise against then maybe check out Four Year Strong. They’re a pretty decent band in this style but like Rise Against they have their own touch to this style.

Prayer of the Refuge as the opener, that is a message right there. One I agree with and am saddened and angered it is necessary.
They Killed it best show of all time, just like a show from the 90's if U can remember that far back when Metallica killed it.

They unfortunately do not have normal live signing( the vocalist rushes somewhere and loses 50% of the sound
Tim I think had vocal issues around 2008 and blew his voice out because he never learned to scream properly, so I think he has to be careful live to not overstress it.

Makes me so sorry I never caught Linkin Park live. I've heard many times they preformed just as good as their studio recordings, if not better at their shows.
@@8bitOG Yea you'd have to look up live vids of them from the 2008 - 2010 era, unfortunately Tim's had a lot of issues with his voice afterwards and is no longer able to replicate that anymore

I love Rise Against so much, always did. But I got to say, what the heck is it with that way of "talking" out the verses more than singing it? I mean clearly you've got the voice, that's not the issue. You are all capable of doing it properly, but then he decides to sing this way... Sometimes it's cool to do so, of course, but this much, on so many classic songs. I mean, I would personally like to hear it as it is recorded. Still props up for still rocking the stages!
They're getting old, man. To get up there and play a hour and a half long set must be super exhausting. Tim's voice has taken a lot of damage over the years and he was probably pacing himself. I know it sucks but that's just how it is when you get old.

Rise Against is one of those bands that are frustrating to listen to live, because you know the potential is there, but they just don't get in a proper groove. Band isn't together, it's choppy, etc. But being in the crowd you don't notice it quite as much.

I watched a live video of them years ago and I thought his voice was shot then, saw them live and was extremely disappointed. I see that’s just how he is live always. Whispering/mumbling choruses and speaking instead of singing like he can’t keep up. He’s the Vince Neil of punk.
What? Dont punk bands historically always been known for shit singing and shit instrumentals. Its the attitude and rebellious ethos that drives people to punk rock music.

Les scènes sont toujours trop loin c'est casse burnes il y a plus aucun contact on dirait limite qu'il y a un écran et que le public est dans son canapé j'ai vu un truc comme ça ... j'ai vu un concert de Iron maiden même sur les caméras on les voyait pas les mecs ils étaient limites à 20 m de haut sur la scène et le public était à 50 m devant et on n'arrivait pas à déterminer où était la scène et le public on aurait dit un parking rempli de monde et c'est tout par contre c'est tellement un putain de bon groupe
