Religion as in practice and ritual which the Pharisees did which made them think they were aligned with God and God was pleased with them. If this woman was a nurse, did she keep up with her mandated ongoing education to keep her license? If she dropped that and decides at some point to go back to secular life, she would need to go back to college and start all over again. And what about working orders that would use her skills and education? Not all orders are cloistered. Lots of unanswered questions about the nuts and bolts of her life choice.

Nurses don't need to "start over" if their licenses lapse. To get her license back she'd have to take a refresher course. Requirements vary state to state.

Much respect for covering yr hair and modesty for God.
We muslim women do this all the time and ppl think we are oppressed and are forced to do it for and by men.
Perhaps you cab help set the record straight.
Dressing up modestly is our worship.

one. the literal first three minutes of this video, I saw that one of the seminarians from my dioceses in this video but now he is a deacon. so shout out to Deacon Elliot Zak, you’re amazing. two. I think it’s a huge misconception that the Catholic Church doesn’t like gays. I think it’s important to put it out there that we love you and Jesus loves you. As a Gay Catholic myself, some of the first people that I came out to was two sisters from my school and they were so open and so loving about it.

I'm just putting this out there, there's ways to become a member of a convent without actually living there. They are normally called Oblates and Associates. Secondly, every order and convent has different rules and uniforms. The main thing is the 3 vows for Nuns and Sisters.

At the same that it's a modern world, women face less pressure about getting married and having children compared to the pressures we felt 20-40 years ago. For religious women, maybe they feel more free to seek out the "nun" life in 2021.
