Another great video about cultural difference. :D
In Sydney, for me, at cafes you usually have a tip jar, I always check whether the tips go to the staff or the boss, as I found out some places the money actually go to the boss not the staff serving you, for those places I do not put any tip into the jar. As I think this is just a means to con money out of your clients and your staff.
As for BO, when I was in College, I had a friend two doors down whom only shower in the morning after he woke up, every time I walked pass his room, if the door is open, it reeks of his smell in that part of the corridor, as he is also a sportif person. After I started working, that's when I found out it is normal for most Aussies to do that, men or women, and as Sarah puts it, they felt refreshed and ready to see people after shower. But my thinking was, 'I want to make sure every time I went to to bed, my bed sheets are clean.' So I usually shower right before bed. But this could just be my OCD LOL.
For addressing family, I personally think Cantonese has some of the most complicated addresses. In English, a lot of them were just covered by cousin, uncle and aunty. I think it is cool for siblings to address each other by name, but as Sarah said, when it comes to parents, a layer of respect by calling parents mum and dad would work better for future family education.
About pressies, I initially fell into the issue of not opening on the spot, until one of my friend's boyfriend asked me through her whether I am not happy with the gift, because I did not open it on the spot. Then I realised in Aus, you open pressies in front of the gifting, so you can show appreciation. xD
Totally enjoy this video again, and seriously, the last 'Wei ya!' from Sarah was hilarious LOL

In America, tipping is expected because a the wage of a waitress/waiter is calculated based on receiving tips. For example, if the minimum wage in a particular state is $15/hr, the wage that the restaurant might pay the waitress/waiter is $7/hr. Tips has been a contentious issue in America. One argument for maintaining the practice is that the tips serves as an incentive for the waitress/waiter to give great service. However, no matter how bad the service is, it is expected to give 15% minimum tip.
My family and I love going to HK for the food. There is no meal tax nor tips (for the most part). In HK, it is an untold but common practice to slip to the host or waitress/waiter a couple “folded pieces” of gratitude.
