Tarot for beginners: how to choose your spread

- What spread "should" I use when I give a tarot reading is a common question asked by many tarot beginners. I believe the choice of what spread to use does not need to be a complex decision and can freely be decided by preference. Its a personal choice and one I encourage my students to explore, test and discover in reference to what suits there style of reading and intuitive processes.
So whether you like the Celtic Cross or a version of the three card spread either are fabulous as long as you remember to be clear about what you are asking.

Thanks for posting. An interesting idea. I assume you mean make a video of a reading. Ill add that to my list of videos.
How about you ask a question or give me an area in your life you would like some direction and I'll use that to make and post a video reading. An imaginary reading is difficult as my guides and intuition are such a strong part of how I read. If you'd prefer to PM me your question to remain anonymous that's OK. 😊🙏

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My heart goes out to you and Im sending you light and healing. 🙏 In terms of your daughters energy appearing in readings yes your connection with her is alive and is always with you so naturally you will feel it when reading for yourself and or your relationship with her. I often find my ancestors, past family members and guides visit when I am reading. Take care of yourself many blessings and light 🙏♥️

I never make questions if i already know the answer myself, or if the answer wouldn't change my mind. Why then ask?
I agree if you know the answer to a problem or situation then asking a question about the decision is unnecessary. Asking a question about what you may need to know about the decision can be extremely helpful in navigating the process forward. I often say to my clients if you have already decided something then proceed as you have decided for the Tarot does not decide your path you do. The actions of today create the consequences and Karma of tomorrow. The Tarot can highlight the energy around a decision or situation to give you insight a headsup about the pathway forward so you are better aware, ready, equipped. How you proceed is always your decision, thats free will. Thanks for posting and sharing.

Yes exactl You can always ask for guidance about what energy, situation or opportunities surround an action. That is an excellent way to assist your pathway forward and raise your awareness around what skills and abilities will assist you and where the rabbit holes may appear etc. 💓
