For so many years, I have held Wesley Girls High School, Cape Coast highly esteemed but I am incredibly impressed with HRM Sheridon Sam's tenure
I really think we don't give our educational handlers credit at all. As a Ghanaian living in Liberia I can tell you we are definitely doing something right in Ghana when it comes to education.
I volunteer here as a teacher in my spare time. It's sad to see grade 10 to 12 (shs1 to 3) not able to string basic English language sentence together. Any parent here with the means yearns to send their ward to school in Ghana.
Kudos. And congratulations to the staff of Ahantaman girls shs. Congratulations to the girls. Proud to watch

What is right with education in Africa? Are there jobs for the masses that graduate every year or they just finish & start chasing for visa's to Europe & America (abroad) in search of manual jobs? Education that was enforced to us by the colonial master that enslaved our people has "0" value but only a breeding ground for their agenda: develop lesbianism & gay culture in Africa & destroy our once very strong culture and adherence to our spiritual ancestors & creator! Education without JOBS is useless!!

Every time I watch a film featuring an African high school, it brings back memories of my own high school days in Jamaica. I wish we had a majestic ceremony as such. I remember just being handed the prefect badge, and that was it. Also, I really like the concept of divisional (not sure what it is called) prefects.🇯🇲🇺🇲
