As a Canadian I appreciate the Avro Arrow being represented at a UK model show. A LOT of great looking builds, if I was a judge everyone would get a ribbon.

Great video! I'd love to go there as I could spend hours looking at the models and the helicopters. I saw an Eagle Transporter (Space 1999) in that too.

Great to see this year's show, which I unfortunately missed. I particularly liked the shots of the Hind, though I would have liked to see the insignia on the fuselage sides. AFAIK, this is the only such helo still around to carry both DDR and FRG (now just German) markings -- a unique subject for a model of the beast.

Are there any traders attending too, or is it purely displays?

Yes there are traders at the show, it's just not something I really show as you can't buy from a video!

Model show report or Helicopter report with model tables getting in the way of seeing the helicopters ! Not sure to be honest .

@1:04 there is a large scale Jaguar. Who makes or made it. Even 1/48 is a rarity these days.

      I can't be certain, but I believe it's the 2012 1/48th scale Italeri tooling of the GR1/3

The Bloodhound at WSM is totally useless as a reference for the Airfix kit as it is a Mark 2. The Airfix kit is a Mark 1. The two missile system had about as much in common as a Spitfire 1 and a Seafire 47!!! The Reason the Helicopter museum has it is the fact that the metal bits of boost motors were built by the Bristol Aerojet Factory at Banwell, which was quite literally up the same road just before the M5. On the other side of the road was RAF Locking where most of the Electronics guys who worked on Bloodhound in RAF service did their trade training.

Not really true - the differences between a Mk I and 2 were not enormous, mainly being in improved engines, electronics and a larger warhead (which overall lengthened the missile by about 75cm). In any case, maybe I am making a Mk 2?
