Hi Brad. I think you'd get a real kick out of flipping through Japanese men's workwear catalogues. The uniforms men working in trade wear in Japan are really something else. I love seeing the way Nikka Pokka trousers are styled when they get appropriated and reworked by the Tokyo-dwelling fashion students. Definitely do a rigorous google image search for Japanese tradesmen's gear AND the street style reworking. The other thing I noticed on the blokes up ladders in their Nikka Pokka trews re-thatching A-framed homes in the countryside, is that their boots are slimline tabi-boots. The entire look is sensational and it's difficult for me not to stare, all gooey-eyed with a dopey smile on my face as I get lost in a micro-rapture of aesthetic and cultural appreciation. 🥰
