Excellent video. Got me out of a hole when doing a DS3 (2014) blower motor. Nobody else explains about the glovebox clips (even the Citroen manual) and demonstrating the need to pull back the tab to release the motor was what got me to finish the job without a serious mental breakdown.
You are welcome my friend . Always happy to hear my content and videos help people 😊
Thank you it was very helpful 😊
You are welcome :)
This will be pain in ds3 with left side driving 😂
Changing resistor was challenging
I can imagine but don't want too 😂 ,with the differences in driving side, some times it's easier and sometimes its harder. I recently did a Peugeot 3008 heater motor which was next to the steering column and a little annoying to get to.
it is! it just doesn't fit. you need to bend the plastic feet air outtake a bit to squeeze the blower though!
How do you know if its the blower motor or resistor that needs replacing
Hello , I will be making a video over the weekend, there are very capable workshops with diagnostic tools that can tell you the exact problem. Otherwise you can do the process of elimination method, these blower motors have two pins only so can be tested, if given power to them and it spins and blows air , the problem will be the resistor.
Hi. Thank you very much. I had the RAC out he didnt test anything. Said its the motor. The whole engine has to come out to fix it. Take it to a garage ? ?? Crazy . Will wait for your video
This was very helpful and calming i must say. I thought the dashboard must go out but this seems like a lot less work than i originally thought. I would give you 100 thumbs up, but sadly i can give only one... Thanks for the upload!
Hello, you are welcome, best of luck :)
