I wonder when brighter hour markers etc will be available for the GM-B2100. I have this watch and the display is very dark and hard to read. I wonder if the GA-B2100 with its positive display module will fit inside the GM-B case? They look thd same from the front, but the GM-B has a screw on caseback.

i changed the hour markers on my ga2110, the backlight stop working after reassembly, what did i do wrong? is it fixable?
On the GA2100, it is really easy to take off the watch face after you remove all the hands and mode indicator. Is it as easy on the GAB2100? Or is it more difficult because of the tough solar?
Does the hour indicies come with adhesive or do we need to put our own?
Doesn't need one. The shape and notches that chapter ring has will secure hour marker in place. And GA-B series doesn't have its hour marker on the dial level. It was locked in a upper deck with chapter ring under the glass. So on GA-B series you will have to pop off the glass first in order to mod those two parts.
Nice Video, what can I do with my grey non solar GA-2110ET and my smaller White GMA-S2100WT (The one with the red GShock print on bezel and blue adjust / light etc, can the markers be modded ? Would you have a link for the markers if so ? Thanks
Actually, we do. Because these models are exactly like GA-2100. With hour markers easy to remove. Just take it out and place it in. If you do not have Bluetooth like on the ga2100, how do you make the hands point to the correct time when putting them back on? Ive always had this question.

Hello, I’ve two questions about the ga-2100 model. 1. Is it possible to change the dial on the ga-2100 or not, not sure if it is solar powered or not. 2. If the case back is opened on a new watch, does the gasket need to be greased again? Thank you for the video.
GA series is not solar powered. GA-B series is. So our GA or GMA-S dial will not be applicable on GA-B series, other for the obvious reason of shape and mounting method.
And yes, if you have such tool/material to reapplied grease it would be most recommended.

Yes, it does fit. Basically the same dimension.
there is mod dial for the solar charging avaliable on the Chinese market now, the price comes to somewhere 350 usd. Wait for a few more months until this dial floods the market.

As the case back contain the electric buzzer in the GA-B2100, will the Caseback mod of SKX work on GA-B2100? As the caseback mod of SKX doesn’t have the electric buzzer on it.
It doesn't replace, it stack on top of the original one.

Are the dials the same between the two. I look for GAB2100 dials on Ali Express and I only see dials for GA2100. I know from the video that the hour markers are different.
No, unfortunately. The dial on GA-B2100 has to be somewhat transparent. Otherwise the solar function will not be activated. Not to mention shape and mounting method is different to pretty much all other series from the 2100 family.
I have the ga2100 and its mod kit bought it 2 years ago. Can i now buy gab2100 and use the same mod? Would that work??
Yes, the bluettoth variant inner core dimension is almost the same with GA series.
So... theres no way to acctually mod the dial by cutting a hole into a new generic dial so the solar function still works ? Have anyone tried somethig else?
1, the shape is different from all series. 2, metal ones are not allowed, best if it was transparent.

No, you can't replace the dial. Just hands, hour marker and chapter ring. Last three we have replacement unit for sell. Dial wise because it has to be transparent, or the solar function will be disable.

@@SKXMOD Please in the next gen include an adaptor for your bezel so we can use our own strap. AliEx sells them HOWEVER they use the inferior design of having the teeth on bezel whereas yours has the teeth on the strap. The bezel should outlive your strap lol
Why would they Mahe it hard to modify? That's one of the big draws of these watches . That can hurt sales. Why why why? They just lost 1 sale of a gab2100 . Companies are so dumb.

Yeah no doubt. I have a 1-A (the black one). This video wasn't out when I bought mine many months ago. All I wanted to do was change the hour markers to white to make them stand out more. I had planned on doing that even prior to buying it. But then Casio goes and puts the white hour markers on the 9-A (the yellow one). I could pop the crystal out of the yellow one and do a swap but the cost to do it would be just stupid.
Also not fair though that mod shops make money from other companies designs!
