The marriage did not last UpTo a year and we are divorced. But when my husband meet me we did not date and one month after we meet, he married me and the marriage have lasted three years and still counting. Sorry dear for your pain. Iam not very sure about your situation but i know most women stay in abusive relationships because they are financially dependent on their abusers. Some fear being on their own or can't come to the terms of starting all over. It's a conscious effort you'd have to make to leave the marriage because abusers don't/ hardly stop.
