That was super. That GM was truly a a very well spoken gentleman. He did have concern about his employees and site but was indeed a credit to his company. Great Video again. Look forward to these every day. I was born in the UK but unfortunately live abroad now. It's nice to see the sites and people of the UK (good and bad) Can't really understand that gentleman who commented stating that you were weird, there is nothing weird about filming in public . I'm sure he has done some filming sometime. Anyway, lovely to see a great company doing great work, RECYCLING.
It just shows how engaging a professional approach can be. All quodos to the gentleman!
I think this is a pretty good example of how a business should be run. The GM was obviously within his rights to wonder what you were up and a shining example of how to deal with members of the public.
Your approach to auditing is brilliant to watch I've stopped watching a couple of channels now cos they only seem to be interested in antagonising people and being abusive

Me six, I never have watched any other auditors more than a couple of times, this one is one for the books, the most clued up GM meets the most clued up Auditor it could have turned into a battle of trying to catch the other one out on finer details but it didn't because both understand each other on a similar level, that site is ship shape and ready for business, they could easily put this audit on their website and it would not have a negative effect on the company, it's DJ approved! 😅, sometimes you see videos "this is the most British thing I've seen all day!" ...that's what I thought after GM and DJ spoke lol..

Spot on! All parties nailed that one. What a pleasant change to see a (General) Manager of a business conduct themselves in such a professional and respectful manor. He demonstrated a reasonable awareness of what is lawful in regard to what you were doing yet still (not unreasonably) exhibited sufficient concern.

I'm not going to lie, a bit of conflict is highly entertaining to watch, particularly when its the Police being ignorant muppets but this video was a real pleasure to watch in its own way.

The general manager is a champ. Representing his company so well. That's what you want to see. A break glass to have aces to the gate key, that is brilliant. It allows the company to be compliant with fire escape safety at the same time complicated with any sort of insurance for brake in covering ect realy nice. 100% Pass.

People often look at older GMs as used-by. This chap was exceptional and similarly, your willingness to declare that you are DJ Audits was entirely professional. If every business had a GM of this quality, wouldn't life be so much easier. Well done for such a balanced audit.

If there is no restriction (fence. Signs) to publicly accessible land I believe there is applied right of access. If they are claiming this land then yes they are liable for any accidents or injuries that happen there including but not limited to medical expenses, loss of income and pain and suffering. It would be much cheaper to fence it.

The silo could well be full of china clay from Cornwall. Paper manufacturers use it to make the glossy coating. (Think glossy magazine covers)
Also known as kaolin, the white stuff that dries out when you put Calamine lotion on.
It's also used as filler for tablets as it's inert when consumed. Completely non-toxic.
It comes from volcanic rocks they've been weathered over time and washed out of the ground using jets of water and then filtered & left to settle out of suspension.
The best quality is an incredibly fine particle size and pure white. It makes some parts of Cornwall look like a lunar landscape.
But, inert and non-hazardous.
You should have given the GM a keyring! He really wanted one.
