You can use any scale as long as the plan view and the elevation vies share the same scale. You can play aroud with the HL as this is where your eyes are in relation to the elevation. So if your HL is above the elevatin view then more of the top of the object will be in the drawing. If you put the HL in the middle then you will only be able to see surfaces below the HL. I hope this explination helps. ;-)

You can just play around with where you want to put the PP; the HL the SP AND THE GL

what is the distance between your PP to SP?
Good evening. Do we use scale 50 as a general scale. I am not exactly sure how to determine height of HL.. Thank you
