I travelled that same road when I was a kid and average speed back then was 100km to 120km/hr depending on what you were in. Watching the video especially the part closer to Badagry shows that it is indeed the same road from 30 years ago when I was a kid. The little 'shortcut' he was travelling on at the start of the video has begun to deteriorate back then so it only makes sense that there are only slivers of the road left. And 10 years to construct a 75km highway? Who are they fooling? On a bright note, great job to Ludo Liu2 on that video. That could not have been very fun. Keep up the good work :)

Exhilarating motorbike riding experience! Your camera placement puts me up front right in the action. I can sense every bump, maneuver between vehicles, other cyclists, people walking, and potholes, gas fumes and air moving past my body. The sound was 360 degree quality. The fast ride on the open highways gave me the sensation of actual speed. Traveling through the coastal region border towns was inspirational as I saw the small shops, open air markets and people walking along side the road. It felt like I was in touch with the local citizens who are thriving which is encouraging to me. It was uplifting to see so much life happening among people as we travelled the roads. Although the ride was long, exhausting and sometimes uncomfortable, it was still time well spent. I thank you for putting me in touch with the "everyday people" of Nigeria and I appreciate you for the time, energy and money you invest in producing great vlogs.

This bring back some memory plying this road 5 times a week from Mile 2 to Agbara about 10 years ago. The road has been nightmarish since then. So much respect for you biking that road with so many potholes, big trucks and one way drivers. About the road you missed, can't you ask someone to help carry the bike over the concrete median next time? You might have to give them some money though. I think that's better than driving between those container trucks. I was super scared for you man. Anyway, your videos are amazing

It sounds like you are riding a larger displacement modern bike. From the shadow you were casting you still have your mirrors in place , which most of the bikes around you don't have . That camera you are using is top notch and it has to be on some sort of gimbal. I hope that you can do a video on your bike and gear someday. Also I've noticed that most of the taxi bikes have been modified with narrow bars, mirror deletes and larger seats. Is there anyway you can interview some of to mototaxi guys and show us how they set their bikes up for the job? As always , another great video.......please keep them coming. Regards from the U.S.

thanks so much for watching and commenting. i am still using my small 250 qlink, yes i have the mirrors. The Okada drivers (taxi moto) use a larger seat to transport three people, then the narrow bars of the okadas allows them to zigzag between the car more easily when it is crowded, they can go in some really tiny spaces this was.

Thanks a lot, you have reveal to the world the real Lagos. Because Island is an artificial one. Why am I saying this. Just because Because Badagry have the potential to be the '' Monaco'' of Nigeria, with all the powerful Income and jobs it Will make available for us. Unfortunately the persons Who drive the super-car called Nigeria, are non- visionary drivers. They Just prefer to Live like prisoner than Live free. Built many good Infrastructures which Will make People happy and boost our economy, and in the same time our leaders economy. Unfortunately !!! Look at Agbara I have left Last year, it become bad again. Seriously I am very desesperate to see our gouvernment Incapable to archieve such of basic elements which caracterized what we called great country. Nigeria is Just great by money the country have, not by Infrastructures, electricity, road, transport system, People welfare, instability of our Naira, etc.. Like Martin Luther, I want to say: I have a dream one Day, Nigeria Will be a great country where their People Will have Joy, welfare, real unity, with electricity and water available 24/7, good road, great national Airline company like Ethiopian or better...etc....for now it is Just a dream.
