I have individually watched all of these CZcamsr streams on their own channels (chase crossing is my #1 fave btw😌) but watching it side by side is so awesome! It’s really funny to hear/see everyone’s reactions at the same time to what happened. I’ve become obsessed with these crunchy island races!! Y’all are awesome 👏🏼

After watching a few of these races, I'm glad to see the comment section agrees that Abdallah shouldn't be invited back. He has informative videos on ACNH but he's not good for these kind of videos, where it's supposed to be competitive but more importantly fun. I enjoyed the video but it would be so much better without him.

Chase: literally uses critical thinking the entire time especially at the end
How you gonna join a maze and just infinitely complain? There are choices you have to make and Chase’s choice is what got him the win. He chose to go up while Chase went down. That’s how Chase got the golden shovel that wasn’t broken. Chase’s decision to dig the holes closest to him got him the ladder and vaulting pole. He also agonized doing the perfect pixel jump and didn’t resort to the glitch until the maze creators said “there are other options” which in no way means he cheated. Glitch has been known for months.
TLDR: don’t be a sore loser if you gonna lose lol.
I mean..............rng is definitely a huge component here. yeah, they made choices, but those choices were rng-based
cat nap Participating in a maze is rng though. You can “scientifically” plan your way as you build up knowledge of the maze but your first advancement and strategy is based exactly on what turns and paths YOU as the participant pick to go on and depending on which one you pick, that’s the result. So I didn’t say rng wasn’t a huge component but to lose and then complain how you are the only one dedicated to critical thinking is a major insult to the rest of the people doing the maze as well as the winner.
digging random holes and getting lucky isn't critical thinking lol? yes chase did use skill to get the correct tool but abdallah wasn't even TOLD there were red herring tools.
i get people are mad about abdallah's behaviour/sore loserness but i think he has a valid point about luck/RNG in these races.

Chase utilizes critical thinking the entirety of the maze by observing what his counterparts are doing and planning which paths he won't take based on whether the others got stuck or got through. Everybody used critical thinking to get through this maze. My message is that critical thinking isn't an idea or process that only belongs to Abdallah.
Also, nobody has to be told there are red herring tools. These were already in place in other mazes that Abdallah participated in. He only got salty because after the tree stump he chose to go UP which got him the broken golden shovel while Chase chose to go DOWN and retrieved the CORRECT golden shovel. Is this based on luck? Yes, but that's what a maze is. It's the exact same as Rover's maze they implemented into the game. Once you understand which routes are which, you can plan how you're going to complete the maze; However, getting that information is dependent on the luck or rng you have with choosing those paths in the first place. So pls refer to my earlier comment about how luck/rng are essentially components of every maze, they are not something you can deduct. Only way you can win the maze without a bit of luck/rng is if you were already told the routes beforehand and had time to plan out what you were doing but that is completely contradictory to the concept of a maze itself.

Watching all the POVs combined like this makes it pretty obvious that abdallah had both wilbo's and chase's streams open the entire time to monitor them. :|

These races are awesome (and look both fun and frustrating).
I have an idea/suggestion: To minimize random digging, maybe some sort of subtle clue which indicates which section of the map will have the ladder/pole?
Like...divide the map into a chess-format grid (not including the beaches, there are five rows and four columns. So the columns would be A, B, C, D, and E; and the rows would be 1, 2, 3, and 4), and when you bury the random items have them indicate what section of the maze they can dig up the ladder/pole.
So for example as a set up, you could use the Gnome items to indicate the numbers (red hat = 1, blue hat = 2, green hat = 3, purple since there's no pink = 4). Then, the majority of items buried in that area would start with a letter from A to E. Since there are multiple areas in the race, that allows for multiple quadrants where a ladder/pole can be buried.
I dunno...just a random thought. Because with some of the other random things on the island, and not being told it flat out, it would sort of be a "connect the dots" situation.
Thought of it while watching Wilbo dig up Fax Machine after Fax Machine and thought that if there was some hint that players could possibly figure out pointing them to the correct area, they won't have to spend 10+ minutes digging up items and hoping they get lucky.
I hope it makes as much sense typed out as it did in my head. ^^;
PLEASE stop inviting Abdallah to your hard work. It’s not enjoyable to listen to him rant and rave on whether he wins or loses. You guys put too much effort into this to have him complain about it. Check in with an awesome streamer like TagBackTV

I love how both Sam and Abdallah thought they were both stuck, but it was just Chase being childish haha! Course Abdallah's the one who was childish at the end there :) He'll always find something wrong with the maze if he's not the winner.
I think Chase was hoping Abdallah would return the favor & let him go first because Chase cut down the tree, and he was gracious enough to wait for Abdallah instead of forcing him to go back on the beds!

A month ago I used it to hide a secret area on my island and hosted a competition to solve my island mystery...and when my frnz made their 1st hop, their reactions were priceless! They luv it!

This entire video is literally just Abdallah complaining about everything.... I hope Sam doesn't invite him back
I actually wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Abdallah, so it kinda sucks seeing that someone doesn't want him back. However, I wasn't too happy how he acted in this. In his own stream, he was kinda rude about the glitch. But, I do see his point. If I was competing in something like this and it came down to just pure luck, I would be pretty upset too.
Especially when he, like others I now saw, were thrown off by the single use golden shovels. In the very beginning, which you can see in his stream, there was a shovel provided so everyone could get the track number outfits and they were supposed to break and his didn't. So I can see where he thought it was misplaced.
Ignoring the luck of finding a ladder and pole vault, because finding the materials to craft wasn't easy but it wasn't left up to chance from the trees, Using the glitch as the main way to solve a maze was pretty cheap. I definitely have never seen this waterfall glitch before this stream, and would not have known. And if you can push aside his "complaining", you could see at the end of Abdallahs stream, Sam even admitted to only being able to do this without the glitch once and it was practically impossible to do without. (Like you needed to at the perfect position I'm assuming to make it work because I didn't see anybody do it without the glitch in any video.)
So, maybe there's a reason for his complaining, but in the end, Abdallah, as well as other streamers, should be brought in to these. Because 1, its just a game and its fun, but 2, it does promote this channel and I'd love to see as much content as possible from this team.
@@SusanSixx he made the race really horrible to watch for me and many other people, not to mention he also trash talked Sam and his maze the whole time. Sam literally spends like 15 hours making these mazes and gives these villagers away for FREE. If Abdallah is going to act like an ungrateful sore loser every time he doesn't win, then no I don't want him back. Like you said, these are meant to be fun games, and his aggression problems aren't welcome here.
@@SusanSixx Well, it was his choice to join this maze again. He could have declined if anything (and they could just get other players to join in or have another match for another champion). I honestly want to support Abdallah but, this (and past streams of the race) was hard to watch.
Also, Crunchy island worked hard for this and spent hours to make the island. Giving away items for free(not to mention to these youtubers subscribers are given chance to join the race too). ACNH is also limited & it is only a matter of time before they run out of "difficult ways" to get to the villager they are trying to race to. The glitch was an option, BUT not the only option nor the main one. Also, Crunchy said it was possible and difficult to perform, seeing as it is a race the difficulty of that is expected. The pixel perfect jump is possible but very time consuming and if someone was on that platform where the perfect pixel jump can occur then they could just block it the whole day until they get that jump.
The waterfall glitch would have helped if that was the case albeit to people's dismay, honestly, I think it was kind of a last option for crunchy since they basically have tried everything for this game.
It was also not just pure luck, try watching the others' stream, they were thinking about how Sam would place ladders and vaulting poles. Like placing them at the start of the maze where people most usually don't look, or areas where pitfalls are abundant and the player leaves before checking all the dig spots. Or areas that are usually ignored.
And concerning the shovel, it was already a mechanic in the other races & Sam clarified that he got the flimsy golden shovel in the game.
Also, like you said this is just a game. And I hope people realize that you play this to your enjoyment. If you start to stress out over the game, maybe they should step back & calm down for a bit.
@@SusanSixx I'd also like to add that Chase wasn't happy about the glitch, either, and said he'd be disappointed if that was the solution, tried repeatedly to get the pixel-perfect jump, and had to learn from his stream how to even perform the glitch because it wasn't something he was familiar with (though he later stated he understood Sam/Crunchy Island using it since it has been well known for months and never fixed, so it's more of an active game mechanic at this time). In addition, it was painfully obvious that Abdallah was watching at least Chase's steam while playing, though I think he was also watching Wilbo's as he got his wonderful idea to search his presents for wood right after Wilbo found his first present of wood... Then mentioned THAT was what he hadn't "keyed in on" before... AFTER knowing EXACTLY when Chase got the vaulting pole and ladder. It's obvious which screens he had his game on and his chat on... And which screen he had the other streams playing on.
I originally enjoyed watching Abdallah's videos, but they quickly continued leaving a very bad taste in my mouth due to his obvious promotion of various cheats and "gaming the system," then acting like he's doing it for the good of the community, the company, or the developers. Resorting to negativity and taking potshots at everyone around the moment things aren't in "King Abdallah's" favor just seals the deal for me. I would absolutely prefer it if he was never asked back again, either.
These INCREDIBLE, WELL THOUGHT-OUT mazes are supposed to look, and especially BE frustrating for everyone, as these take ages to make, and put together. Just to clear it up a bit.

Abdallah was annoyed he lost. He was going through his feelings on stream which should be fine as everyone has feelings. Abdallah than said he like Crunchy Island maze and that they put a lot of work into those mazes, then went on to express how he would like to run in future races that did not involve RNG or luck. Think about how you would feel if you lost out on something. Everyone including you should have a right to there feelings, also should be able to have those feeling then be done with it. I think if he harp on how he lost and how things turned out for a long time then I would agree with you but he just didn’t. Hope you the best and stay safe.
Hey now!! Let's all be nice!! The race is FRUSTRATING and certainly has the ability to make players emotional at points. Abdallah had some nice things to say about us too! We think his criticism was intended to be constructive, and we are happy to take his comments under consideration. & of course he's competitive, its a competition after all, and he's a competitive gamer! We think he ultimately wants the race to be as good as it can be, because he may see the potential impact this series may have on the game itself, and we couldnt be more honored that he feels that way and wants to help! Btw, i have a suggestion: to eliminate the "random" digging feeling, why dont u make designated plots / area for each 1-4 players where its the same amount of spots and stuff with the same % of stuff to dig out... So players still need to digg up stuff but the % of chance are the same..... just comes down to who digs the fastest....

Honestly don't understand how people dislike Abdallah. He's just very different from Chase as in more vocal but everyone has their different styles and ways of handling stress. I love watching all the races you have but I wish they weren't based so strongly on RNG and chance. I think what your team makes is absolutely ineradicable, but personally I feel like the chance aspect detracts from the work you put in, and my enjoyment in the viewing experience. I'm really excited to see what creative maps you make in the future, and hope you focus more on skill and puzzles in the future.

i know im in a minority but i felt this race was kinda sketchy and biased towards the competitors who did the previous race. the map looked a bit similar to the previous one so there was a bit of advantage there. additionally i think it is a bit lame how someone can dig up a valuable tool. i know it's not RNG and not required to do so but it's a HUGE advantage if you get lucky in this way. i think this can be better if no tools are buried but instead placed throughout (with red herring tools). presence of glitches/red herrings should also be disclosed at the beginning to make it more fair.
these are just my thoughts, i know you guys put a lot of effort into making these but would love to see a more fair, skill based competition!

Even when a subscriber told chase that Abdallah was stuck, chase was like oh what he's not stuck.
