It makes sense for flick and CJ because it's confirmed that they are roommates. But I doubt they have feelings for each other that would be romance. One is obsessed with bugs and the other has a fishing hobby. All I'm saying is... Flick probably wouldn't care to be in a relationship with anyone unless bugs become a villager.

Seeing that both KK Slider's and DJ KK's Amiibo cards are compatible in the new update despite being two different versions of the same character, it makes me wonder even more why Gullivarrr wasn't included in the series 5 Amiibo card set.

If you invite DJ KK to the Roost, he refuses to confirm or deny if he is K.K. Slider. Also, apparently DJ KK can perform on the archipelago while K.K. is on your home island. This doesn’t make much sense considering in _Happy Home Designer_ and _amiibo Festival_ DJ KK was just one of K.K.'s costumes. I think the authorial intent between games may have changed. Maybe K.K. hired a lookalike to take on his alternate persona full-time.
Any character can be on your island and the archipelago at the same time. I think that’s something g we’re just supposed to ignore. For example, if you know wisp is on your island but go to his vacation home, he will still be at the vacation home.
