- Back in Austria this time for the first high mountain railway built in the world, now available in Train Sim World 4 from Dovetail Games. The Semmering Line within Austria, not too dissimilar from the same line in Train Sim Classic - just a bit longer now stretches 42 miles to Vienna Neustadt.
This addon will include the OBB 1116 with Bmz coaches, a compliment of freight cars as well as the OBB 4024 EMU.

I work as a train driver in Austria and also develop for Train Simulator. I don't really like the Taurus sound, and some things aren't implemented correctly. The SoDie fans are far too loud in the cab. At the top right (above the right display) is the holder for our tablet.
15:29 The Talent in the background is leaving with some of its doors open. So DTG quality control is on point as always, it seems...
Finnaly TSW 4 on this channel.. this is best route review for tsw4
21:13 they did mention that they're trying to organize a recording trip for the talent. no promises on when though.

I agree with this review as a whole. DTG love to reuse many assets and it seems upper management is not giving devs enough time if they didn’t have time to model first class coaches for instance which leads to corner cutting to get it out of the door quickly.
Given that the 4024 sounds are completely wrong and the overall linear nature of this route, this will be a pass from me. Whilst it's nice to have an Austrian route, it just feels like a German route but with mountains

Yeah for sure man, for the price point the routes are just getting shorter and more and more assets reused. I kind of wanted to pick this up but I'll wait for the sale to get the stock and layers. I do agree, so many things just feel the same in this game and I still go back to Classic more than I do TSW. @22:52 Honestly that is painful to see, especially after hearing "We ran out of time to make the 1st class and bistro car", but you had time for that? The only improvements we need for passengers is just to fix them where they actually show up and don't disappear.
But the train builders aren't responsible for npcs
@@potatoman451 I know that was kind of a moot point and I realize they have different teams for different aspects of development, but my comment is more directed to the bigger issue of upper management. If the devs are saying they didn't have enough time, they are being pressured to push out unfinished content which has shown to be true with the quality of past releases and that's an uncomfortable thought. They need to prioritize quality of quantity and focus on fixing core issues.
Dovetails Games has long been a money grab company for mediocre very overpriced content.
game would be much better with multiplayer.
I think trainz 2022 is really starting to look good and really starting to give DTG a run for their money..
