- Dr Blake Bloxham of Feller & Bloxham Medical, PC (www.fellermedical.com) presents the results of a patient who reached out with an interesting request: to undergo a hair transplant to do a "man bun" hair style. While many patients undergo hair transplants to style their hair in a certain way, this may have been the first time we were asked about the "man bun" style specifically. Because this style requires long hair and completely exposes the hairline, it could be a difficult one to achieve; especially in a patient with advanced hair loss -- which this patient had. However, Dr Bloxham and the patient came up with a good plan/approach, and decided to tackle the case using large FUT procedures. The patient first underwent a 3,200 graft FUT to build a strong frontal foundation. This involved rebuilding an appropriate hairline, densely packing the frontal scalp behind it, and then strategically working back to the "bridge" area in the mid-scalp. The next procedure -- a 2,400 graft FUT -- focused on a complex crown rebuild -- with crown whorl reconstruction. In the video, Dr Bloxham thoroughly discusses what made this case fun and interesting, but also what made it challenging. He presents the patients results at 6,12, and 18 months post-op, and does get an answer to the question of whether or not a "man bun" hairstyle is possible with hair transplant surgery. Watch the video to find out!

I had a procedure done with you about 6 years ago and it went really well. I never went back for a follow-up visit but now I’m considering going back for more. I had the chance the meet you and Dr. Feller, you’re the best!
When will be the next verteporfin update?
Awaiting verteporfin update
insane work
well done
He will need another procedure for the temples but looks realy good
Very natural results. Could this guy pull off another fut for lowering the hairline more or would it be too risky?
amazing video ! you guys are the real deal
also doc i love that you comb the hair on video, could you comb it with partings/from other angles and not just back so we get a better gauge on density(on upcoming vids)?
Not that you are trying to hide anything ! just for more piece of mind as this is something id like to do one day and im 99% of the way sold. just would love some extra reassurance
thanks !
Shall patients after procedure still medications wich blocks dht?
Thanks doctor, is there any video for grade six androgenic alopecia ?
Cool video! Dear Dr Bloxham, will you please do a wet comb through video on your hair line? You did not have HT right? So we will look at your hair line and at the hairline of one of your patients and we will compare them on the matter of having only singles on them and on other matters of naturlness.
Wen Verteporfin!
Does 200 grafts make a difference
A very specific question Dr Blake,
Is it possible to transplant just the temple points alone?
I have a norwood 2 hairline but my temple points are really thin and miniaturized.
Of course! It's easy.
Did the patient used minoxidil during post op period?
Are consultations free? Can people send you pics on Instagram if they have questions?
Wouldn't it not be so good for the hair to have a tight pressure of being pulled back and tied up?
Is he on finasteride? Is it mandatory?
I honestly dont understand why these people are afraid to show their faces. If you have such an advanced hairloss that you need a hair transplant, everyone in your circle will know that you had it done, right? so it is not like you are hiding it from them. And if some random dude who will never see you in your life see this why do you care? I wanna get a hair transplant with this doctor and I would gladly show my face once I have enough money to get it done lol. Everyone I know knows I want to get a hair transplant and they know that I am insecure about my hair more than anything else so if the result is great then yeah, I will own it. We need to give support to men who wants this done. Women can get all types of tweeks to their bodies and everyone supports them. Hell, they support even obese women that will die of heart failure in their 50s because of bad life choices...but for some reason we cant support men having a boost to their egos, fixing something that you cannot influence by any other way than either taking meds or getting a ht? It is ridiculous. Stop hiding or being ashamed of having a HT.
No one is afraid to show their face lol. And it’s not about hiding your hair transplant from your friends and family and colleagues, etc.. the focus of these videos is the before and after of the hair transplants. Who cares what these peoples faces look like
@@Islanders83 Did you watch the video? Doctor Bloxham himself said that it is easier for people to relate and see the result when they see the face of the person to whom the hair belongs....My comment was referring to that.
@@naverich4603 and as a patient of Dr. Bloxham’s, i’m telling you why we don’t want to show our face on here if we don’t have to. It’s not a requirement, and the only reason why we allow the video on his CZcams channel is as a favor to him to show off his work.
