Not a bad radio I just think the range is quite short and personally I would get the radio link rc6gs still a 7 channel but with better range and 30 models memory slightly more refined on some things for around the same price . But overall not a bad radio fair point on the channel settings it should have trims options on more channels and totally agree with the lights 👍🏼
Thanks a lot for watching and your kind comment my friend. Yes the range isn't the best, but for crawlers amd rallye cars more than enough. Track cars should be good too. Bit for the planned speed runs I'll bestationed in the middle, to get 300 m (900 ft). Beside the other things, for 60 bucks you'll get a nice system fitting for the most models. Have a great weekend Fonzie
That's a Nice Radio and a Very Good Review Dirk 💯🎉 RCF4L I like the lipo checker and temp probe those would be handy. Nice flashlight and gyro for Speed Runs is a plus 😁 ✌🤠👍 HFLPRCing =Having Fun Laughing Playing and RCing 👍😎👍 AOAH =Association of Addicted Hobbiest 🙏 SSPH =Stay Safe and Play Healthy 🌟 Blessings from the Great Smoky Mountains East Tennessee
Great review Dirk. That transmitter has got some really great features and functions,Suprisingly so for a Carson. I've had a few Carson radios over the years.... Unfortunately the quality of the plastics have let them down. This looks substantially better by the looks of things ,thanks for sharing mate. 😊 👍 👍 👍
Thanks a lot my friend. This is my second radio from them. I use the 12 channel desktop radio for my High Lift. And now this for two models. Maybe it's before I used the Absima system for most of my cars, so I'm not used to high end radios and celebrate this one (even a cheap one) so much. But they soon got me with their easy binding procedure. And the rest is adding cherries and cream to the cake. And you're right, as long they're working together with Tamiya, they should do a great job in general and not reselling cheap stuff everyone gets on the big two Chinese homepages.
Looks nice, sometimes the companies make the battery slots thin for normal batteries and don't think about using rechargeable ones that could be a bit thicker.
Great review Dirk, This looks like a great buy and the steering features are exactly what I am looking for on a budget. Look forward to testing on CR-01 and your thoughts after use.. I will be watching closely my friend..
Thanks a lot Paul. After the PBRC SRC I'll do the outside run/test with the Unimog😉. Okay I ordered a second receiver for my MF-01X car, because I want to use the Gyro. So there maybe a little review after this event😮
Hey Dirk, looks like a very high quality radio system from Carson. The only thing that might be a issue when you use the radio out on the trails, the D/R button being close to the channel 4, 3 way switch, you might accidentally hit the D/R instead of the channel 4 switch, the onboard voltage checking system for your LiPo’s that’s a neat idea. Overall for the cost, it’s a worthy radio system. Thanks for sharing with us 😊😊best wishes to you and the family 😊😊
Hi John. That's a good point. But there's a little insurance builded into. The D/R button beeps and changes the display, channel 4 not. And I'm in the lucky position, that I put the main lights into this channel. So I should use this only when the car starts. But you're right, everyone might have an ey on what he puts on this channel. Excessive use might cause an issue with these two buttons. Thanks for watching and your great comment my friend. Have a great weekend.
Interesting, didn't heard about it. But Carson's known for purchasing and reselling. And if you're familiar with the other one and like it, I glad to be on the right path. Thanks for watching my friend
Great point Mal. I'm more a dual rate guy, but it's good to know to have other things in reserve, even for that low price.😉 The gyro doesn't interest me for crawlers, but for the PBRC SRC this might be a great feature. Have a great weekend my firend.
Thanks Stephan and you're right 15 receivers can be binded to one transmitter. I also thought about using it for my TRX4, but I don't want to loose the telemetry.🤷♂️

@@RCBirds totally understand and agree it's not bad really !! Have a good weekend 😊
I'll keep an eye on the range and if I'll not forget it gets into my review of the PBRC SRC.😉
Nice radio, plenty of features👍 the mirror function is my favourite. Mirror mirror on the transmitter, who is the handsomest of all? 😂
😁😁😁should've cleaned up my man cave. Thanks a lot for watching and your kind comment my friend

Thanks a lot Jeremy. It tried to fool me, but as soon I fixed the battery box issue, I relly like it.😁
Nice detailed review always good to see a good transmitter 👊

Thanks. Glad if I helped
Looks like a decent radio
It is. Nice features at a very budget price. After the CR-01 (crawler mode) I already ordered a second receiver fir the MF-01X (gyro).
Cool transmitter and nice review😸👏
Thanks a lot for watching and your kind comment my friend. I really apreciate it
@@RCBirds you're welcome my friend 😸
Nice review Dirk 👍 Looks a very nice radio 😎🏁
Thanks a lot. And for the low price, this is also cool
fantastic bit of kit dude 👌👍👍😀
Thanks a lot my friend
same radio system as the turbo racing ones! they are great.
Interesting, didn't heard about it. But Carson's known for purchasing and reselling. And if you're familiar with the other one and like it, I glad to be on the right path. Thanks for watching my friend
Very nice radio and reviewed
Thanks a lot my friend
looking good champ...great review😍👌
Thanks a lot my friend
Looks like a great radio!
Thanks Steve. For the price alone, you cannot go wrong
Cool 🎉🏁
Thanks😊
It does have a lot of features my radio the same and I never use much more then the EPA.

Maybe a very good alternative for my Traxxas which I also use for the Tamiya. How many receivers can be registered, I think 15.
