Don't understand all the haters. I picked up this album hoping they weren't a one hit wonder and they did not disappoint. This album is just killing it from beginning to end. All these songs are stuck in my head constantly. Everyone in this band gets a hug. What a fun record.
Album is all bangers. Every song is incredible. Got it on vinyl. Opened it ONLY to get it signed, (by Hester)... still have to get the rest of the band on it hopefully one day.

I'm, gulp, 58, and am with you concerning WET LEG. I have been following music trends since childhood. I am still excited when I make a fresh and delightful discovery, just like everyone else here. Wet Leg is original and so much fun. They truly deserve the accolades and all that will be coming to them in 2022 and beyond. Don't forget us here in Middle-America when you finally do a full US tour...

I never stopped buying cds (and theirs is on the list to get - unless I go for the vinyl). As much as I stream, you can't beat the physical product and no advert can ever ruin the vibe or subscription service get in the way. When the paywalls get too big to climb over, that's when you'll be thankful you can diy...

I was feeling a bit low after failing a job interview while on holiday and hearing this band cheered me up as I had never heard of Wet Leg before, but fell in love with their music. I binged for an hour and may binge some more. Familiar yet totally their own unique sound and they are funny.
It may not have been the best job for you. You might have dodged a bullet.
Funny, smart and musical...just plain special and that doesn't happen very often ! Hope it's as much fun for you guys as it is for me looking and listening on.

Haven't been this excited for a bands debut album in like ever. Watched the performance from the green festival 3 mos ago and was hooked. With each new release I love then even more.
My favorite part of this video is Rhians big, beautiful smile and laugh after the long steady face at the end. Talk about spreading some happiness ❤️

I introduced my 16 year old daughter to Wet Leg. When she was at lunch with some friends, she brought you up and another of her friends said that she too liked you guys. Another time, I'm getting haircuts (again with my daughter, we're cool like that), and I'm telling my guy all about you since he loves to hear about new music, and another customer was randomly across from us getting his haircut. He came over when he was done and goes "Were you talking about Wet Leg" I'm like "YES! You know them". Obviously he did. You're making an impact here in the states (as if you weren't aware:). Please add some shows to NY area, so far only one in Brooklyn I can see in March, loving you guys! Last time I felt this way about a band was when Muse first broke. And please, keep the current formation, you're band is incredible (love the bassist, drummer & synth sounds, very different, unique, and awesome!). Peace!
Fucking incredible band. Can't wait to see what the next album is like. So glad I saw them live in Toronto. Look forward to watching what they accomplish in the next decade or so. Totally underrated. Glad they got their due at the Grammys this year. Lot of people slept on them at first. These two are gonna be huge.

I feel bad for all the indie bands that try to hard to be clever, ironic, quirky, etc., but just come off too cool for school/hipster condescending. This is beautifully organic and unforced off the wall stuff. Funny, cute, engaging, and original videos and the music is just fantastically understated but perfectly structured, esp. texture/instrumentation changes. My fave new band ❤❤🎶🎶🥒🥒

A choice subject for our times, but love the fact you get out and about on the island (my brother was born on IOW and we spent many a summer holiday there as kids with my grandparents). Big up to Alum Bay chair lift - though IOW Tourist Board: maybe could get a lick of paint? Another great song Wet Leg!

Listening to their songs and watching their videos is an absolute delight. It's fresh, it's real and it's original AF. To those who complain that we're supposedly doomed if this constitutes as music nowadays I say.... We know you people. You were the same people who said the same thing about Beck's "Devil's Haircut" in mid-nineties.
It's a bit grunge, its a bit bjork, its a bit their own thing. It is all awesome.
