Unranked still matches you with people similar to your own rank just like ranked matchmaking, its just that games don't impact your rank in unranked, that is the only difference. Nobody at your high rank is gonna waste their life in unranked, hence the long queue times.

I haven't bought prime yet, g1 before unranked update. I noticed my queue time triple in unranked mm up to 14-15 min and go against either complete bots that abandon on round 3, global players that eat my team whole, or hackers. Game epic 😎
It's glitched, restart CSGO. This happens quite often in unranked and ranked. I've played quite a few unranked and it's never taken longer than 10 minutes...

This is actually a bug that happened many times to me. All you need to do, if you don't find a match within 5-6 minutes, then restart the game
