Great narration and demonstration of your expertise. You seem to be a very competent mechanic.
Great job, would love to have a look at clutch assembly and pressure plate ...
Excellent, like your explanations, right to the point 👍☮
Must take a very big bank account to own and maintain a bus. Amazing all the work to keep it running.
Brother Tyler, compliments on how you have come into your own since we first met you through the BGM channel and onto your own channel. I hate to use the term 'mature' with a grown man but pretty much everything about your work, your delivery and the care you obviously apply to your projects has become that of a focused, trustworthy craftsman who knows his stuff but is also willing to share it with others. You were good when we first met you but you have really taken your skills to another level or two.
hes growing his customer base. It takes alot to get to his dads level of skill. But the younger generation can do it better if they have the knowledge. "If" is the key word.. younger generation of tylers age is very thin when it comes to this type of work.. usually taught from there parents. Like gentry and sons trucking page.. he's teaching his son ..
Nice too see you working on own project's, hope your bus is coming along too
I really like your channel. Just content, no stupid "music" or advertising crap. Don't change anything.
Awesome work dude
Looks like a pain in the bus ! Hope to have y'all work on my MC8 one year soon. Probably when I retire in 2025. Guess I schedule it in 2024 .
Great work, just wondering if we are going to see an update on your bus anytime soon? Cheers Drew
I love you heavy maintenance guys. You are everyone's friend when they are in trouble.
cool video, keep them coming
Good job Tyler!!!
These guys are very intelligent
Thanks - continue to enjoy your videos. Learned a lot about busses!
“Dorothy, You’re not in Kansas anymore!”
Gotta give you credit, you have unbelievable patience.
As always love watching and learning from you Tylor. Just wish I had the shop you have. Thanks again from Nashville TN.
That was a very professional mechanical and video presentation.
Love these vids, Tyler!!
Put a spot of RED spray paint where each of the engine access panel screws go to make it easier to find next time.
Amazing watching you work on these Tyler. Your a very good mechanic
Your definition of room to work is vastly different than mine. What you call roomy is what I would fear is not accessible. How you guys can contort into small places and still get wrenches on is impressive to a layman.
Long time, no see (on your channel) @Tyler - 👍
Nice to see yr vidios lots of other work goin on i bet with shop yr bus
Great content as usual! How about an update on the status of your bus build?
Your a chip off the old block. Keep up the good work.
Big job
Hey Lance? Who besides Tyler and Scott have been workin' on that bus?
I really can't understand the converter people who hide/bury/delete the access hatches to the power train assembly. Are they just dump or something worse?
Atleast the conversion here had seats and panels to access the covers. I know some conversion that have water tanks and such over them making them completely inaccessible
INDI DIESEL bringing it
NowTyler-Don't take this wrong, but--If you had it disconnected, wouldn't it have been nice to pull it all the way out, run it outside and steam the crap out of it and the put new injectors set tolerances and gaskets as you'd have lots of room?? You guys really could use a fork lift to move crap. All terrain from the auction barn? Zip Zip Zip. I know - you had to get it out of the bay. Good job on wiggling things back in place.
Boy she is dirty in there.. high pressure wash and some green engine paint for sure...
A quick question - The belt of death.... Has anyone come up with an alternative drive for the cooling fans instead of that big long flappy belt that goes up through the access area to the engine?
So you on a factory linkage? Any idea what the weld was all about?
I don't know why the did that, with a new end and proper adjustment I the linkage I got proper free play without it. But we as a similar issues on that eagle we helped on the side of the interstate. Can't figure out proper adjustment, just cut and weld and make it worse.
Did that old fuel feed line need to be replaced? Looked a little 'tired'... Thanks...
This is a nightmare for me. The engineers who designed it should be forced to work through it.
Amazing... I am so glad it is not me having to do all that, lol... How in the heck do you remember where everything goes..?
Did you remove the extra eye Someone welded to the clutch ?cable?
Yep
Hey Tyler. Great video. I was wondering after the winter storm passed through
can you get any vehicles up or down Bus Grease Mountain?
I live in Cherr'ville, NC and we got about 6 inches of snow on top of ice.
I am NOT going outside till the white stuff is gone. My 1990 Plymouth Grand Voyager
with 163,000 miles on it does not do well on ice.
I actually haven't tried. I don't drive my 04 in bad weather (I hate rust so if there's salt down it's parked) and the flatbed lost oil pressure friday. And dad took my dually out of town this weekend so I've just been staying in lol.
it seems you could befit from some durable light bars
Is that chipped up asbestos insulation around the access panel?

Money isnt that important the older I get haha
Looks like an archaeological excavation!

wow, no firewall over the engine !
Show the clutch and how u repaired or replaced it. U didn’t show the best part to help us to learn
Are you in your bus and is it done
How many thousand dollars would it cost to have this done?
Depending on how much it fights a few thousand dollars in labor to replace a clutch in one.
