  • In this full tour of the newest topper from Four Wheel Campers, we’ll walk you through Project M, a full-featured alternative to a slide-in camper. This truck topper conveniently fits on top of the bed rails and is clamped or bolted on.
It is unique in that the tailgate is not removed. The camper has its own hatch as well, allowing full access from the rear of the truck. Various sizes are available, depending on the size of the bed, while you can choose from six different colors as well.
The camper has an escape hatch, GearTracs, and six roof latches. Our walk-through of the Project M Topper covers a range of exterior features and options, plus an overview of the roof and optional add-ons including solar panels.
Roof interior features including a prewire package option, and camper interior features like the windows and screens, cabover bed, shelving, interior tracks, safety features, and power supply, are explained and demonstrated.
Also learn about the entire pop-up process. Our truck topper camper is easy to use and extremely convenient for spending time on the road. Explore the innovative Project M Topper at fourwheelcampe....

    Love it.
    White would be superior
in the 100° heat we're having.
    Love the giant window.
    Prewired? Excellent!
    Fits a Rubicon? Perfect!

Jack brackets! This is the first manufacturer I’ve seen offering those. I would only want this on a truck when going camping. Don’t need it driving to work or grocery store.

I have rebuilt several vintage four wheel truck campers, I like the aluminum framing, always lighten them up by tossing out all of the old particle board.

Any orther rv dealer or repair shop can it happen for you after purchase. That's an easy add at almost any place you will take delivery. Many even offer a full rear window replacement for a power rear truck window (whole window). Stuck with the little window on the camper from the vendor but as soon as the warranty is up, go back and have a real window installed to match your truck window.

I'm excited about this offering from you. A couple of things I would want to do is have a large solar charged battery pack like an EcoFlow Delta Max (I could also use at our cabin). No need for a charge controller then. I'd supply my own panels...but I would want everything prewired. Is there a chance you could use European style opening windows rather than the sliders you are using? We have a 2015 Toyota Tacoma access cab which has a bed length of 73.5"...I came to CZcams from your website, btw. Thanks in advance. We'll be traveling throughout North America to include Canada, Alaska, USA and Mexico. We've done it before in VW campers, but I like this option as well, if not better. I like my Toyota.

It's easiest to shut the tailgate, climb over it to the inside, then close the Project M hatch! Everyone figures out their own system.

Hi Rodolfo, Thank you for your comment! Because there is a menu of options related to our campers please go to our website and click at the top on "Campers" and the "Project M" and then click on the blue "Build & Price" button. This will take you through all of the options and calculate a price and weight based on what you have selected. You can also contact the nearest FWC facility for guidance by clicking the "Find Dealer" button at the top of the website. Have a great weekend!
