The price tag is so much better than a car payment! That vehicle is now ready for another 200,000 miles! I have a 93 ranger I daily to work with 508,000+ miles and still has the original engine transmission and rear end. 💯 Regular maintenance and 3000 mile oil changes work!!!

I’d get it all done. Way cheaper than a new car. Those little RX’s are nice, and It’s a clean ride. Every vehicle needs maintenance, and most parts wear out eventually. It is what it is. Stay ahead of the maintenance, and it won’t hurt as bad as paying for multiple parts like that in one shot.

I had a 04 F350 6 speed. Clutch pedal bushing broke and my Ford dealer charged me over $400 for a whole new pedal assembly they said they couldn't get just the bushing. 2 years later my buddy had his bushing go out of his 97 f250 and Napa sold him a bushing kit for $30. Boy I was not too happy about that. Too bad I didn't know you Ford boss back in the day! Great job and God Bless!

When you said that the knuckle had to be changed I figured that some company made replacement bushings. Sure beats spending $800. Our current fleet consists of a 90 Olds Delta 88, 98 Honda Civic and a 2000 GMC pickup. I do the best I can to keep these older vehicles going. I want nothing to do with the current vehicles with all the excess gadgetry that is prone to failure.

There’s no doubt that the first job should’ve been time and belt. Customer should’ve been warned to not worry about the noise, but worry about the engine blowing up first.

Yikes man that timing belt is seriously cooked, rarely see them that bad without breaking lol

I have what might be considered a stupid question. Why do manufacturers use timing belts instead of timing chains on all ICE cars?

Buy a Steelman sound tool detector. I found my suspension problem in less than 10 minutes. I thought it was a swaybar but it was the upper rear control arm. Thanks to the noise detector tool. Thanks to Scotty Kilmer showing how to use it
