Absolutely! Karachi is facing economic social political genocide including ethinic cleansing by the racist establishment of Pakistan!
My grandfather knows Karachi and Karachi politics like back of his hand. He was in job market in sixties, being a son of working poor father he was discriminated in NED college due to quota of 35 sears from 135seats. A college built by a Karachi Wala for Karachi wale students. In jobs especially in CSP selection there were 2% quota for Karachi domiciled. The bank job was very desirable in that time period, where a Shia candidate had better chance. Police jobs were mostly for one group of people, Redon being IG was Shia.
Please talk about the solution. According to my grandfather abolish quota for hiring and with whitest results and ability.
Urdu speaking candidate topped the CSP examination for straight twenty seven years and only few were hired. My dada never complained and moved on and he did very well in life.
I have to tell you that he would made a damn good CSP officer, a least better than goofy, poorly educated and corrupt officers.
My dadi a topper of DOW MEDICAL had to go through the same shit.

The domicile system was introduced by Bhutto. There is no sectarian angle to that since Bhutto allegedly and Nusrat Bhutto was 100% Pure Shia from Iran. PPP is majority Shia Political Party with minority Sunni Politicians Infact PPP was coined by Isphani at Al Murtuza House and the initial meeting was held at Lahore I forget the name of that person but he was Sayyed from Punjab.

Two things can easily improve things from karachi. 1. Strong local govts and 2. Develop other small cities in Pakistan like Hyderabad sukkur Multan Quetta Peshawar Bahawalpur muzaffarabad etc so that they can absorb rural urban migration . No one will come to karachi if towns near them get developed. This will reduce population load on karachi and will also encourage many non karachites living in karachi to move back.
Sindhis are the fourth largest ethnic group in Karachi and grouping Punjabis with those nuswar barbarians is an insult.

Yes, but you don't want to speak the truth. Karachi is an economic hub before Pakistan because of Gujurati-speaking people (Memon,Bohra,Ismaili,Khoja,Parsi) not because of other races.

PS karachi was a small town of less then 4 lacs before partition and was nothing more then the port city for north western india . That’s it. Almost all jobs of province have been given to its rural voters by the PPP govt. from 2008. Even fake domicile of Karachi have been made by the Deputy Commissioner and mostly they are from rural Sindh. Even appointments in many Sindh Govt. Deptt. have been made in cities of rural Sindh, and then transferred to Karachi and later absorbed in Karachi quota. The son of the soil are treated as blue blood. This is the truth.
