En voyant ces 4 futures boites brutes, j'ai tout d'abord pensé que vous alliez tourner les 4 partiellement ensemble pour optimiser une série. Je me trompais car il devient évident ensuite que vous apportez un soin extrême a chaque "détail" du tournage individuel des boites. Bravo pour cette belle idée et la belle réalisation "aux petits oignons" comme nous disons ici en France en référence à la bonne gastronomie !
J'ai plutôt tendance à tourner des pièces en un seul bois sans collages mais votre jolie idée / réalisation m'ontdonné envie de tenter cela pour un futur tournage. Il faudrait que je me dépêche car le temps a beaucoup passé pour moi 😄

I just came upon your video on these multilayer apple-shaped boxes. They are rather unique and also I like the way you designed them where you can make multiple pieces with one large glue up of similar pieces all at once. As a retired scientist working in manufacturing for many years, it is far better to use the "additive" vs "subtractive" approach to making stuff where there is less waste.

Love the appearance of the wax finish. I make a lot of tops and I use a mixture of mineral oil, diatomaceous earth, and beeswax as a finish. I think I'll try just beeswax next time.
