What a performance. Kerry Ellis is just amazing. These two in the West End together would be amazing. I would love to hear them sing Defying Gravity too!

This is the transfer I wish would have happened when Wicked opened in London. Not to say Idina didn't do a great job, but this pairing would have been incredible. Their voices go so well together.

I love how Kerry loses her accent a little when she sings
All singers lose accents when singing. It has to do with pronunciation of the lyrics and how much air they let out when singing.
Because when you sing, you need to sing open vowel sounds - which makes one sound more on the 'posh' side.
For non-american's it's all about pronouncing the R's for this piece and in other pieces would be making sure to pronounce words like last, chance, dance, France, demand, etc, the american way.

It was a fantastic evening. She is such a storming talent. Such fun & a brilliant performer. Was honoured to be at RAH for her first performance there. Thanks for posting this clip. A great reminder of a fabulous concert.

Your video is the closest to the stage which is nice but it is amazing how good the audio is on most people's videos. I am sure that this was a real winner for the audience with Kerry Ellis's appearance.

That was surprisingly good. They both seem so doubtful at first; but they can't help but deliver in the end. I never saw Wicked. Likely never will, but it's hard to avoid this song. Stars; both of them.

What happened to Kristin's face? She used to be the cutest girl ever! I still love her though cuz she's fantastic! And Kerry, I didn't like her before and I was very upset when she was singing with Brian May but then I saw her in We Will Rock You as Meat and god Lord what a talented woman!
Bee Nadal It's a combination of botox (which she started using for her migranes) along with rhinoplasty and cheek implants - yes, she's 42 and trying to stay as young looking as possible (in order to keep competing for some roles) - but it also has the side effect of giving her a plastic look. (Btw - Kristen herself admitted to plastic surgery so don't blame me - I'm just the messenger.)

I LOVE Kristin, but i don't think she is growing old gracefully if you get what I'm saying. Also why can't she sing with her mouth properly? Its always in a weird sideways position? too much surgery?! I think so! This is amazing though. Also i am SOOOOO excited to see kerry in wicked again, i thin her voice has matured so much!

Ellis’ voice is interesting but most of it is breathy snd does not project evenly. The top belt voice , which is there, is oddly at odds with an undeveloped head voice with lackluster projection. Maybe she had a cold .
