The main problem with pit, in my opinion, is that lower prestiger players CANNOT kill high prestige players period. Like depending upon the perk set up it is impossible for a noob to kill a certain player. And that isnt fun gameplay which drivers that player away.
@@zoof3605 i think thats the point? so ur saying that someone who has played the game 500+ hours is supposed to be on the same tier as nons? thats not fair, ur work should actually pay off
@@zoof3605 maybe someone who has played the game for a week and in free gear shouldn't be able to kill someome whos invested months into playing with 10-20 PB worth of gear.

Completely agree, i was never really a mystic user myself, but as a p23 who has played the game since release it's just so saddening and frustrating to see an update like this. I've not played Pit for a year now due to hoppers and the lack of new content, and it's definitely not gonna help when you have to wait a year for an update that simply makes the added items from the update before useless.
Couldn't help but agree, the entire reason I've been playing for the past MONTHS was for promotion, and then when I hit prestige 10, they remove it (yes I know u need pres 12 to use it, the point is that I've wasted my time)
Yup! Getting promotion was basically when you became an actual mystic user, but now its gone and im sad

I'm lucky enough to have quit the pit before this update hit, I lost all my good items to a very well organised scam and I got hopped on by the guy with my own mystics for the next 2 days, so at presstige 12 I quit the pit... it was actually a blessing in disguise because I realised how much time I was spending in the pit and I now go outside with friends a lot more often because I'm not "busy"

the ban thing is different, it essentially doubles ban lengths and people with previous cheating history are permanantley banned
So if you are banned, you get banned :)
I was right, its not like hoppers are going to even remember the account details a month later for their 1345 different accounts

@@PinkEve so a lot of pit players, I clueing myself started closet cheating because of 1. There was no staff 2. There were a duck ton of hoppers that you could not kill, unless you had God items or cheated. But now with the comp ban I'm perm banned for something I did 8 months ago...

There's a screenshot of a conclave member (the people who are in charge of the updates) saying they are killing pit on purpose to get people to move to redux (pit 2.0 without mystics) when it comes out
Magnum Opus is the best thing by far in the update, its way better for repairing items than withercraft AND you get renown. 50 kills is nothing at this point when no one is using gset. The only problem is that you need to be prestige 12 to actually use it.
When you die from reaching the killstreak you don't even keep the lives on your current gear. Have fun streaking and losing lives on all of your current gear just to fix a single item. That is, even if you manage to survive to a 50 streak without getting hopped on.
@@timtom556 thats why you should shop streak... without an iron helm.... or obby ring.... and every non heals to full and kills you if you reach max strength chaining!!

As a prestige 3 I bought iron pack for thr helmet which made it worth it. Without the helmet there is literally no reason for it to exist. Wasted renown.

I think that they don't want all the OP mystics to exist forever, with infinite ways to retain them.
I hit pres 12 about 2 months ago, and I was like "FINALLYYYYYY AFTER ALL THIS EFFORT I CAN PROTECT MYSTIC LIVES AND REACH THE END GAME!!!" "SURE ITS GONA COST 50 FUCKING RENOWN BUT ITS WORTH IT!!!!"....if only I knew...I was spending 50 renown...to get 1 more kill, every 4 kills.....imma be honest, im not using mystics until they fix pit...and if they say this is permanent...I'm just straight leaving...no reason to play anymore

Honestly you explained it better than anyone Eve. Iâve been grinding and grinding trying to get to promotion and above because I want to be overpowered. So youâre right that this update ruins all of that. I see no point in trying to get there anymore, they removed the fun. I really hope that you have helped change what happens and I hope certain things get put back to how they were such as promotion. And they can go about other ways of balancing things without taking away everyones fun

the competitive ban system means after you get unbanned you will stay banned from competitive games for longer. so pretty much longer bans for competitive games
I got a 30 day ban for playing the pit on 1.17.1, and i only have like 3 days left on the ban. Does that mean that i have to wait for another month to be able to play pit? Also how dumb is it that they ban me for playing on 1.17 for like 5 minutes, and bhoppers dont get banned?

The game ban system is for extended bans in competitive game-modes.
Like why did they remove iron hem it was debuffing the non not high pres and why TF did they remove promotion it was the only thing we can save lives

I feel like if they removed iron helm they should make fancy helmet a lower prestige for new players
honestly, if they really wanted to buff the lower prestiges, they should've added a perk or renown upgrade to help combat that. e.x. "Deal x% more dmg for every 10 levels that your victim has", and just make the golden pickaxe in the shop a one-time use and cost more. the iron helmet change is probably the one change that is the worst for newer players, if they just gave the helmet a flat price increase, or scaled the price with prestige, then it would've been fine. this is all just my thoughts though, and i am by no means very experienced, im literally prestige 9. but god, please just revert at least some of these changes, its going to kill the game for good.

They essentially just took droppingâs list of suggestions and bugs and only fix/changed things that people were using to maybe get a drop of enjoyment from the game.

imo they should revert pit to before mystics. Or like make them not so broken that people can't get into the game. I'm prestige 20 and i can't even do anything cuz everyone i fight has good mystics, or is a hacker. And the game has kinda just lost players cuz of this. Also revert to before the kung fu nerf. Like why does kung fu, a prestige 10 perk, which cost 10,000 gold, do the same damage as a prestige 2 perk, which cost like 2 or 3 thousand gold.
Lets not forget that Insurance and removing promotion just buffed venoms gg. game deeed

For the competitive games, it actually is useful because now it will soon require a migrated to play the pit which will stop 99.9% of the hackers

Eve you very much misunderstood the competitive ban system it means after you are unbanned from the rest of the server, you still may no longer play the pit, so high prestige cheaters who have been banned more than once can no longer play the pit at all

6:58 daily log was removed a year ago, thats patching the thing you could do where you shoot someone with a bow, switch lobbies, and not lose lives.
7:15 also if you think this one is a bad thing then you haven't been paying attention to pit recently (ik u haven't which is fine), but people just bot the shit out of ubers with bots that act sorta like normal nons, and it is devaluing everything, so I think this is a good thing.
