The last one. " Stary Stary Night.." ❤
“I have to do this. I just can’t help myself.” 🎉Your joy is contagious - embedded in your art.
I chuckle every time you say it!
❤ the way you honour the paper as a valuable partner in the creation.
Beautifully said, and so true!
😊 you are right. It needs nothing more. Thank you so much for sharing. So inspiring! They are like happy meditations!
I really enjoy your art history comments about artists and their work. I like learning about art history. Your knowledge is vast.
How exciting! You are having too much fun!
I am going to try it with a window scrapper too.
Thank you!
Great experiment. First one looks like a cityscape. Love the last one with it’s bold composition.
These are very textural, AW88! The colours are lovely.
The textures! Inspiring, yet again.
😂 living for the “ghosts”! I can’t tap off until I see what you do with them. Your palette is so different to mine- all sorts of colors I don’t use😊
This was certainly an interesting method of creating a print inspired by Gerhard Richter but, it sure looks fun! I love his work as well! You got some really cool prints! I agree, no additional collage required!
Also funny that you mentioned pouring trending on social media now, I was doing it 8 years ago, as well as many others of course. Now they have paint already prepared for pouring, you are right, it takes a lot of space for sure! It is much fun though!🇨🇦
I love the way the mixing creates interesting neutrals making the pure colors POP!
Loved the new technique. Such vibrant colors. Can’t wait to try out on new 16 x 20 plate.
I've enjoyed myself watching this video. It's a new approach to the gelli plate and monoprinting art. A very interesting one, I might say. Thanks for share, Fulton ❤
Absolutely fantastic results. I loved this video. Thank you as always.
Absolutely love the second print. The colours and mark making are wonderful.
I admire your energy and your dedication. Again thank you for sharing your art.
How joyous! The hardest part is waiting for the weekend to be able to try these techniques. Very inspiring.
Have fun!
Beautiful.
❤❤❤❤ magnifique ❤❤❤
Wonderful! I have done some of this on 12x12" wooden panels, using various size scrapers and a window squeegee. What a great idea to do this on the gellie plate. Thanks for the inspiration!
Wow, so joyful. I love it. And I think composition must be second nature to you.
All are fabulous! Great job!
Wow! You have just created a whole new art form. Congratulations! I still can’t believe what I just watched. Bravo!
So, so, so agree.
Wonderful upload my friend. I enjoyed watching your video. Thank you for sharing. I wish your continuing success. 👍30
❤ such lovely colours!
greatness!
The spreader tool makes loading the gel plate a whole new ball game!
H my! The print at minute 33 is ❤
“It’s very bold.” ❤
Beautiful work!! Love the color combinations!! I do paint pouring and my work space is my bedroom it can get messy but it’s a lot of fun. I have to put plastic down so it does make clean up easier. You should try it sometime you will enjoy it.
I suspect the roller technique used previously was more intriguing for the viewer to figure out, involving as it did so many templates and layers.
It is clear you wish to advance your repertoire and make new discoveries.
Achieving such a lively result must be satisfying.
A lady on another site obtained a good lift by drying an impasto landscape thoroughly overnight and lifting with a solid colour in the manner of a ghost print.
I was surprised how well the thick paint lifted.
It seems to me your thoughtful comment also leaves the seed of a new idea. How interesting.
Really enjoyed watching you use a painterly approach on a gel plate. There seems to be no limit to what one can do with a gel plate. Thank you for experimenting with many different techniques.
Yes! I feel lucky to be seeing it.
OMGoodness! I love all your work, but the use of the paint spreader was genius! Can’t wait to try this! Thank you.
Inspiring. I share your excitement.
Very nice results! I really dig the orange and yellow gradients you achieved and that terrific orange ball in the lower left corner at 21:50.
I’ve been trying Rothko style with a roller but haven’t made anything worthy of framing yet. Wondering if you might “show ’er how it’s done!” And by her I mean me, of course.
Really like the first piece!
Loved your attempt at a G Richter… great striations and mixing of colours 🎉
These are amazing! I am learning so much from you.
Awesome! Thank you!
The closeups are really beautiful, I can't help but wonder if you increased the size, it could take the viewer more inside the work, to make it like walking through a world of texture and color...
What would happen if you dragged some of your baby oil mixture across the gelli plate, along with the acrylic?
I could do oil resist, but as a separate layer. Doing them together is quite messy and I don't see any advantage.
Not really taken with this style to be honest but i will have a go and incorporate some masks and stencils perhaps.
If my video makes you want to try something different its all worth it! Have fun!
Choose purple sometime. And choose not to scribble but do something classy. Love your black straight lines. What is this, you fifth ghost? Enjoying your artwork videos.
You don't come into a man's kitchen and tell him what to do!
🩷🩵🤍❤️💙🧡
just gorgeous! you've just opened another door for my ambitions ... (you know, my grandfather and my father have been painters. but my main heritage from them is a nagging feeling of inferiority. so art is my Chapel Perilous [R.A. Wilson]) ... your work is the Manna on my way to ...
