So Krillin is going to be that character that everyone writes off until someone masters him and just cheeses through matches because no one will have any idea on how to deal with him. XD

Krillin is strangely my 2nd favorite dragon ball character. I always remember the amazing episode where he stands up to cell even though he knows he has no chance against him. It was a suspenseful and endearing episode. And he's still the strongest human character in the series

tien held back semi- cell but that is a technique that drains your life force and Tien actually fired 6 tri beams in the manga instead over 20 in the anime which is impossible nobody’s life force can be that strong and all he did was push him back for few seconds and did not cause any damage whatsoever and krillin did not have a technique like that and hardly got a chance of fighting semi cell , all those scenes of krillin ,18,16 punching cell is filler

The Senzus are NOT random. You throw 3 rocks then a Senzu in a cycle, the thing is, you only get 3 beans per match so that's why it seemed to "randomly" stop getting them.

The rock proyectile could it be a reference when Krillin trow a rock to Goku while he was in super sayan mode.
That was my first thought too. He literally throws the rock at Goku's head while he's not paying attention and it actually hurts him, lol. I think it's a reference to that as well. What also could throwing rocks and senzu beans mean, lol? He's the rock thrower (like in the incident we just mentioned) and he's usually the guy to bring people senzu beans. I think that explains both.
In the original dragon ball, didn't he do something similar to master roshi to test his reflexes when they first met?
Cameron Fowler In the original Dragonball, when Goku and Krillin are sent out to find a rock with Master Roshi's symbol on it, Krillin makes a fake duplicate rock to fool Goku, and to get Goku away from him and the real rock, he tosses it away into a forest.

There were people on Twitter giving Max a hard time for calling them "fireballs", arguing they should be called "ki blasts" like the show. Max called them fireballs for the purpose of fighting game terminology, but other people turned it into heated arguments. This is his way of teasing them again. :P

So Krillin got an attack out of the rock he threw at Goku in that week right before the Cells Games, when he thought Goku could sense everything in the universe even as he slept in SSJ.
Just a heads up beans aren't random. 3 beans per match, 3 rocks in between each bean. Once you use all three beans you can only pull rocks!

Krillin is the man. The truest bro there is. No matter how tough the enemy, he'll always be there on the front lines with his friends. What he lacks in power, he more than makes up for in loyalty. He's badass, I don't care what anyone else may say.

For those who don't know Krillin's basic ki blasts change direction when you press the blast button again (X or A by default I think). On the ground the blasts angle upwards and then fall back down and in the air they just angle straight down.

With the limitations of already set characters, special techniques, and the fact that almost every character fights hand to hand, they're doing an excellent job at making every character feel like they have something unique about them, while still being usable and not overshadowed by the rest of the cast.
I'm gonna spend a lot of time in the lab learning krillin, I feel like once we all get done decent lab time, tournaments will be better
Krillin The Villain ... Not ever going to happen. Randomness doesn't tend to lead to consistent results. Youll get random results. You don't consistently win tournaments with random potential.

The thing about Krillin's "copy" attack is that in the story it's supposed to be an optical illusion. So in the game, in the attacking version of the move, Krillin actually jumps forward and attacks and it's his illusion that stays behind. His body is now forward, close to the opponent. In the fakeout version it's his illusion that jumps and his actual body stays behind. So utility wise as a mixup it's pretty neat because you can either follow with a close-range combo in the attacking version or stay behind and do a Ki blast or delayed dash in the fakeout version.
Looks awesome, is 'Challenger' coming back to the OST for DBFz? Miss that track from the budokai days.

He can throw 2 rocks before hitting the ground, also can confirm both with a clone or clone after the first rock, BEFORE hitting the ground. You also can do this on the floor. So basically jump, pester with rocks and wait for impatientness to either confirm off rock with clone or anti air solar flair.
I'm interested in those altered direction ki blasts... could the height of the jump determine the angle? The location of the enemy? It doesn't seem likely they would be purely random.

the names of the moves were Solar Flare and destructo Disk for his level 1 super. also he throws senzu beans? i know this is refrenced in the series but i now associate it with when krillin shouts "senzu bean" as he thows it in DBZ Abridged.

One thing i noticed that no one seem to say outright, the krillin senzu beam, when used as a main character, always heals your assist characters, it only gets dropped on the ground when used as an assist

hi max, just came to say i enjoyed the beta and love krillin. came back 3v1 with him. also had to come here to see how to do his finisher because only one destructo disc came out as super even though i had full bars.
The Mixup is called - Zanzoken/After Image Technique
The Eye blast is - Taiyoken/ Solar Flare
Discs are Kienzan / Destruco Disc

So Krillin’s assist is amazing the Sensu bean comes out if you’re hurt (normally) and it restores all the blue/recoverable health that you have! It can obviously also do this for your opponent as well

That attack where he touches his head is called the solar flare
Max, that attack is called "Solar Flare" and the disk move is called "Destructo Disk"
Ki Blasts, Solar Flare, and Destructo Disk are the words you were looking for. I remember the good ol days when Destructo Disks were like the ultimate weapon. Even Frieza had his own purple awesome Destructo Disk. I think his was called Energy Cutter or something though. If you didn't dodge that shyt you were toast. Than Perfect Cell comes along and everyones so powerful they can let the thing drill into them with no effect xD

The one where Krillin puts his fingers to the side of his head, that's Solar Flare, what it is is basically generates light so bright, it's like looking straight at the sun, thus briefly stunning the opponent.
I WANT to say it's a counter move, but I haven't touched any demos for the game. But it's worth checking out, maybe if an opponent is trying to attack the stun will be harsher?

When using Krillin normal ki blast the joystick controls the direction of the ki blast so up makes it go up down makes it go down. Dont touch the joy stick and it goes straight.

There's already people finding some corner set ups with rock throw where you can attack on air just after throwing it.

The attack it's solar flair in English and supposed to blind opponents the technique for the clones it's multi images allows you to create or leave a image of you for the enemy to attack while you are on a different location think will be hard to work combos w krillin but super good when you learn how to use it
One press of Ki on ground makes it go forwards, three presses will make it go upwards.
One press in air makes it go forwards and three presses sends the beam downwards.
I can't explain the randomness around one press but pressing the Ki buttons three times or even mashing seems to force the angle change consistently.

Ahh man it's amazing Arc System created a pretty good Krillin i love his move set.
The "psychic attack" was solar flare, a move that blinds the opponent.
The body flash is Solar Flare, as I'm sure you've seen plenty of times in the comments already. But I think you're spot on about it being a quick pop to relieve aggressive pressure. In the anime, the move is used to cover retreats and stop assaults from vastly stronger characters, and remains relevant through most, if not all, of the series. It might also be a counter move. With the limited time you had, you might not have thought to check for it, or maybe you did, and it did no such thing.
I think the After Image specials are supposed to be a sassy version of a teleport, since you can choose to either use them as an attack, or as a fake-out. Krillin might be set up to focus on whiff punishing with that level 3 super and the variable cost and damage of his Destructo-Disc super. I'm thinking because of that, he might make for a particularly strong anchor, since his supers look really good at safely shaving off the last third or so of a health bar.
