FOREIGN WOMAN ALONE IN KABUL AFGHANISTAN 2022!!

  • Kabul, Afghanistan....Alone in Kabul, So im going a bit backwards here, I have a LOT more content to edit and trying to get it done asap! Jay and the guide left as the tour was over, but i decided to stay alone for a couple of days. i am in my real element when im wandering the streets and have people interactions. i do not normally ever give kids money in any country, but things are a bit different here, there are no other tourists here ,so its not a tourist scam to get money unlike some countries, their mother was sitting there with younger children, people here are struggling for food , and its extremely sad to see, many kids walking aroung with bags collecting what they can. I did not at any time feel unsafe, the camera is on me more than usual as there were women walking around and most do not like the camera. The Taliban passed by me several times, in Trucks and on foot and none of them bothered me at all. i felt very safe...this is just my experience! anyway off to Pakistan now, where i will be editing the rest of my Afghanistan trip! thanks for watching!

As an Afghan woman, I did not have the freedom you have today in Afghanistan. Behind this face is support for the Taliban. And you are a collaborator with the Taliban, you want to present Afghanistan as a free country and the Taliban well to the world. While no other foreign citizen has such freedom and comfort in Afghanistan, except those who collaborate with the Taliban. Today, Afghan women are subjected to violence and rape by the Taliban. Girls are prohibited from science and education. How are you respected in Afghanistan??

That is true but it is also important to recognize that afghanistan is a victim of great power politics and has been in turmoil for decades. You cant expect a level of prosperity and freedom in a country ravaged by civil wars and revolutions. The best thing to do would be supporting afghanistan in developing peacefully and building their infrastructure. it will take decades though.

You are a very brave woman Emma. Sorry for those annoying kids and I am glad you did not purchase or give them money. If you did so they would have told their friends and you probably would have seen more kids approaching you. The Taliban are not as scary as the media portrays them. Afghanistan is much safer under the Taliban than under the previous government. If you would have walked on the street in the previous government, there was a greater chance of someone snatching your phone. The Taliban are very strict with theft, bribe, fraud, and women harassment. In the previous government, some lowlife young men used to harass women on the street and tell them bad words all the time.
