I was told the cave is up to the right driving from Stranraer while this is obviously on the left, I used to visit Stranraer very often over many years and taking the road that goes through Girvan, great video and those metal detector guys would have soiled their undies haha.
This was so immersive, this tale has always fascinated me. Really gets under the skin. I know there have been loose adaptations of this legend. But it baffles that know on has tried to make a stand accurate to the time period version. I think it would have a lot of potential.
I really loved this. It is great getting to places that hold history like this. It doesn't matter if this was the actual cave or not, it is still gives you that sense of what it would be like. I can't wait to see more like this.
hello from all the way down the map (the new forest) I love all you do, but these journeys & stories are amazing 💗I feel like I'm on the journey with you, it's like I'm on holiday when I watch these films. 💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕
Great filmmaking and narration 👏
Dude I’m so glad I found this channel
Great video!! Very creepy too! Your production is excellent
Great video and enjoyable commentary, thanks.
"that's what she said" lol
Needs WiFi and a gift shop
I noticed that Wee Tam the Bam fae Govan has not visited there yet, strange because he's been everywhere else.
That's so fascinating! And I didn't have cimb over rocks and be claustrophobic.
Every bloody time I'm at a coastline in Scotland I can see Ailsa Craig or however you spell it. It's as if it's following me.
Hell yes! This is inspiring me to get back into Photography. I even ordered an action camera after watching this so that I can finally have a video capable camera. Now I guess I HAVE to start using cameras again.
Thats brilliant mate! Let me know how you get on. - Calum
Can't wait for more ....
Just what I always wanted to do !! Great idea ! TY. ❣️
Nice one, excellent production standard as always! Me and my wife attempted to clamber down to the site last year on a perfectly spooky misty day but had to turn back due to not having suitable footwear. So thanks for showing us the cave interior and glad you didn't encounter any Buckie drinkers!
Great documentary and very well produced. Nice job!
Ty for this special video sweetheart 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🥰
Upvote purely for the "that's what she said" that you set up yourself which is something l also like doing.
I don’t believe this cave was a cave to fit sawney bean etc but the commentary was brilliant
It was supposedly blown up with explosives...
I was not expecting the bird XD
Definitely seems like an interesting place! 💜💚
Cool thanks fur that coz a was gony take the Wayne's doon to see what this cave was like but to hard to get to
"And a bird that didnt give a shit about anything"....
Hahaha
But people always say how healthy sea air is...
The directors of Hills of have Eyes based it on this event.
Brilliant video pal. Also your funny haha
Great video
Is that Lundy at the start? Great video,!
I want to know what drone you're using and if you noticed any much older pictographs or petroglyphs? I've enjoy your work many thanks.
The drone is a phantom 4 pro. No sign of anything historical in terms of cave art unfortunately, if there is it's long since covered - Calum
Beautiful filming I felt like I was there :-) thank you ♡♡ how about the underground streets in Edinburgh ♡♡ would that be possible ♡♡
Its something im looking into, so hopefully :) - Calum
@@ghastlytales I know you guys would produce a fantastic film on the underground streets ♡♡♡
1:50 LOL. 3:16 LMAO.
I'm definitely going to watch the full doc this weekend. *EDIT: I'm an idiot. I watched the full doc 3 weeks ago and even commented on it.
But seriously, is it safe for you guys (or anyone) to be in there? I mean, could it collapse or anything?
Its funny you say that, as those metal detectorists started smashing the wall with a garden fork... I saw them leave though, so they werent crushed to death under a giant boulder :) - Calum
Very good. Can you do a video on Dule trees (hanging trees). 👍
I'll look into some possible candidates near me - Calum
Am from Hills have eyes 2
how do you know this was sawney beans cave?
Some places say the cave is about a mile deep. That’s not a mile deep.
So we jus gone act like he ain say thts what she said😂😂😂
Did you shoot all the drone footage yourself? Looks great! This deserves more views.
I did and thanks :). - Calum
@@ghastlytales The only thing that would have made it better is if you use the track "The cave" from the Ravenous soundtrack. But, youtube would have tagged you for copyright, haha.
nevertheless, you’re really brave, even going there
It’s been like 400 years right doesn’t that mean it’s been closed off or cover by growing rock......
The real cave is hidden BELOW, so I've heard
It's a big cave but I can't see 45 people living in it unlike the 2 bedroom flat next door to me.
