I missed the days when i was in Morecambe and Nottingham from 77 to 82 , in my college and university days , coronation street , is the only media that i have regarding England.
I will always remember the vivid view of the far distance of the glowing snowy mountains of the Lake District overlooking the Morecambe Bay in winter.

@@martinmitchell7280 If the police had the body of Lauren (who was supposedly murdered), then they would have reports from the pathologist that might support DS Swain's theory, but they don't have any of the required evidence to support it.

You can not be tried for murder if there isn't a body, otherwise, who are you supposed to have killed, where's the proof that the person is dead, apart from her blood at her apartment
People have been convicted of murder without a body several times….fact.

this storyline with lauren missing is so unrealistic 😭 i mean ik its a show and im enjoying the storyline very much but irl, no one would be charged for murder when the body hasnt even been found.. she could be abroad for all they know.. plus theres not even any evidence to say roy did kill her?

What kind of jail is Roy in? - where he gets to wear his own clothes and has a land line phone in his cell? He has been arrested for murder and denied bail. Does he get a butler as well?
He's in remand . Different than post sentence.
Bail prisoners are usually on minimum security and little “disruption” as they are technically still innocent.
@@MizrahiChick Agreed he is in remand - but those are pretty nice remand perks. Remand ain't like that in Alberta.

@@patriots02ify Partly depends on the level of threat you’re thought to pose; they’ve had enough time to establish Roy doesn’t get involved with other prisoners (he’s unlikely to initiate conversation), isn’t violent, doesn’t pose any risk to the “good order” of the prison, but also on the status of his case, the police really aren’t yet certain they will proceed with the case - the fact he’s not entered a plea or been remanded for trial means he is still at the bottom of the food chain so is treated lightly. I’m actually behind watching by weeks having been in hospital, but has he actually been charged with murder, which would never happen, or is he simply arrested on suspicion thereof?
