Bobby may be Carla’s family, but he practically ruined hers and Roy’s friendship. She can’t protect him if all he’s gonna do is jeopardize the things Carla cares about.
Carla made Roy an accessory which is something no true friend would do. I ended a very close friendship with an ex brother in law for the same reason.

the ladies characters in coronation street is just amazingly kind , loving and symphatetic , a generations of good English culture and customs.

Basically Bobby made a fake police report without Carla knowing at first and said to the police that he saw a man run out of Lauren’s flat in a Parker coat and a balaclava. And he was really tall and strong . Then Carla had to keep it a secret after Bobby told her
