    It finally happened! My tired old power steering pump on my 1988 Cherokee XJ has been leaking for over a year. It was a slow leak, so I just kept adding stop leak and filling it up; but no more!
    I apologize for the bit of clicking in the audio - Filmora's latest update has caused this audio glitch during rendering and I am awaiting a fix.
    However, the show must go on! I show you exactly how I removed my old pump, what I cleaned up, where it was leaking, and the complete reinstall. Working in this new garage is everything I had dreamed it would be. If you haven't already, please check out my garage playlist! My father and I built it from the dirt-up!

      Excellent, I'm glad you got some use out of it. Been a few years, zero fuel issues since! I can stand by the K-suspension products and seals.

    Thanks for the instructions. I'm helping my son fix a 1992 Cherokee Laredo that needs some love. Actually Nicollete Larson said it best because "It's gonna take a lot of love"; starting with a radiator and power steering pump and hoses.

    hi do you have some engine mods from the regular xj renix engine? I love the valve cover

    • @inawrocki207
      @inawrocki207  Před 3 měsíci

      It's almost completely stock. That's an aluminum valve cover; good replacement for the soft stamped metal cover (chasing a leak).
      It has the original block, exhaust manifold, and throttle body. The fuel injectors are K-suspension 12 hole upgrades.
      The coolant system is out of a newer 96, not the original sealed bottle and hosing. It also has old in-line fuses, and the chassis/electrical was wired for the old 4 cylinder 2.9L.

      @@inawrocki207 that’s awesome. Would it work for a stock 1989? I can’t seem to find any and would really appreciate if you know the company that sells em
