Such a lovely, softspoken man. Apart from his incredible music, I could also sit around and hear him tell stories all day. I really love the fact that his music was so much a reflection of the life he lived. Not a hard-travelling bluesman like others, he was a total homebody who just liked to live a quiet life-he said he really didn't like to leave home. I find it impossible not to smile whenever I listen to his music. RIP John, the world is a better place for having you in it.
Thank you; William Henry Carson, for putting a guitar in front of John. and Mr Kent, for giving Mary Jane John's 1st guitar. and Mary Jane, for giving us John, and Most of all, Thank You John, for giving us your goodness.
Possibly the most beautiful soul who ever lived. So much so, that you would never mind that he started the story 20 years early with a different story, never told the actual story, or played the promised song. 😂

Holy crap. To hear him tell the story of his first guitar. What a soft-spoken gentleman.
He sure was. Just a nice humble man, besides being so talented. He's a favorite of mines. Love to hear him sing and play.

What guitar is he playing there? Not the Guild F30?

Pete Seeger, one of the worlds first modern virtue signalers and SJW's.
No, he was a genuinely virtuous man, and did endless good in the world. And I hate pc bullshit and sjws
Genuine virtue/doing good in the world hasn't changed, duh. Now it's called "SJW PC bullshit" to give bigots their safe space.
I'll fight you on his behalf
