- Boss ME 90 review of all distortion and overdrive sounds for more dad-rock, classic or and blues tones. The boss ME 90 multi effects. Unit is a Great all in one paddleboard for beginner, intermediate and advanced guitar players looking for a wide pallet of guitar tone options covering many genres.
 Most of the existing ME-90 Boss review videos are based around very heavy guitar tones for metal and heavy rock.  I thought it would be a good idea to put out a review for old farts like me that appreciate the more classic rock, dad-rock, bluesy tones, and country tones that you can try to pull out of this incredible multi effects pedal, known as the Boss ME 90.

Suggestion: You should put the pedal on wide-screen instead of the wide-screen camera on you. This would allow us to see exactly what you're doing. Nice vid !

Ordered mine yesterday, can’t wait. Withe the volumes jumping saw in another vid in the settings there is a pi and zero setting that keeps the volumes at what you set instead of reverting to the factory volumes for each effect each time you power the unit up.
Yes, absolutely! I have a video about adjusting that setting. This was more a case of going from one drive type to the next, they all have a different character and therefor sit at different levels of volume and boost depending on the style of distortion and drive. Metal zone is ment to be preamp pedal, some people using it in return of the amp and getting better results.

Great video! Thanks very much! I’ve been using the 70 for years - never had the 50 - thinking about getting the 90. I’m an old guy and lean towards the overdriven amp sounds. Hope your finger heals quickly 👍😎.

which amp/settings are you using with the ME90 ?
The amp simulations on this unit are good too.
Fender tweed blues deluxe, pretty even settings close to noon maybe slightly diferrent. 😎👍
Thanks for the Demo! Are you going direct to Mixer or Front End of Guitar Amp? Also, do you have Line switched on in the back of ME 90?
Through front end of a tube amp as pointed out in middle of the video. Don’t have the line out switched on in this case. I have other videos of me going direct to a mixer/PA live with a band. Thanks for watching and your support. 😎👍🎸

Great videos..Anyway, do you have a plan to uproad some set of preset you made on your site for use at a resonable price?
For exanple, by group of Blues, 80's Rock tone,etc...and/or Artist specific presets..SRV, Jimi Hendeix,etc..

Have you tried to put a eq pedal in the send return? I believe It will improve the sound.
I miss a better eq and an amp Control in boss me90, will be perfect with this

I think you have to bring the master vol maximum first,, then leveling your amp vol untill it's loud enough then add od/ds whit minimum output level.. I Find that 90/50/10 on section its more balanced.. I usely to do this on my setup,

Thanks. I have a ME-90, digging into it as I can. I have an editing suggestion... it would be nice to have which effect you're messing with listed on-screen (text) in the corner, just sitting static while you're playing with that effect.

Sounds the same as Boss GT1000 which I had. Good for what it is, a very versatile tool but doesn't sound like a real amp. Not for me unfortunately.
Ya, I hear you. For practice, recording or a grab and go rig it’s great, but it wouldn’t replace my tube amp and pedals all together etc. I think it’s a great unit and just got a line6 catalyst60 and will see how it sounds plugged in to the front end as well as plugged into the power amp in. The fact that you can try all these different ways of using it makes it really cool and versatile. Thanks so much for watching! 😎🎸👍

You don't show the most important thing on whether I'm testing the Me 90 or is it a monitor? or amp?
I could have definitely done a better job. I admit it. I did however keep saying “through the amp” and at 21:33 say specifically that I’m playing the rough the fender tweed blues deluxe tube amp. Sorry, I’ll strive to improve with each video 🤓🎸

Later in the video I go into how it’s plugged into the front end of a fender tweed blues deluxe tube amp. How are you using/planning on using the me90?
Wasn't my question, but for my purposes, I'm thinking of a 4 cable to my Katana Artist MK1. I'm wondering how much of what I'm hearing is ME-90 and how much of this goodness is natural rectifier sag from the Fender. It sounds great@@24-7Guitars
@@joeyherring5942 that’s a good question. It’s definitely a combo as the tube amp is the base / foundation of the sound. I’ll be doing a version of this while going direct through the ME90 preamps/IR’s as well. For this video I’m really trying to see how it sounds as a “pedal” or od in front of an amp
