  • A basic motor control start-stop circuit can be designed using a few components, such as a motor, a start button, a stop button, and a relay. Here's a simple circuit diagram for such a circuit as shown in the video.
    Here, the motor is connected to the power supply through a relay, which is controlled by the start and stop buttons. When the start button is pressed, it energizes the relay coil, which in turn closes the relay contacts, allowing power to flow to the motor and start it. When the stop button is pressed, it interrupts the power supply to the relay, causing it to de-energize and open the relay contacts, stopping the motor.
    Note that the relay contacts used in this circuit can be either normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) depending on the specific requirements of the motor control application.

    this is not a suitable method as it does not allow low voltage control -their must be a transformer installed to isolate the control circuit.

      It can be a 120v coil on the contactor. So then you can pick power from one leg of your 240. No need for a transformer in this theoretical application.
