E4 Error Aprilaire Dehumidifier/Great Customer Service

I go over the troubleshooting steps for an E4 and E8 error code on the Aprilaire 070 dehumidifier. The unit was under warranty and Aprilaire's customer service was absolutely amazing. I received a new unit just a few days later and the old unit was picked up the next day.

I agree that they provided great service. An American company with English speaking staff. This is so different than getting a call center half way around the world. Glad you got it running again

I have used a lot of Aprilaire products over the years. This was the first time I ever had to send something back on warranty. The process was painless.

Can you use temp probes to see in and out temos and suction line temp to verify.

I would think you could use a clamp on or velcro on probe for the suction line if they are small enough to fit in the unit. I just followed Aprilaire's instructions for troubleshooting before calling the warranty department.
