Copyright says 1966...,this has got that West Coast vibe....,minor modal mixed with the oh so bop oriented circle of fourths turn-around...,but then a soaring descent from some cliff over the seacoast as section A closes in landing right back at ground zero...,and the circling and cycling begins again....,very original take on both LatinX and post. Bop jazz.....,"as they say...,"Mellow 6/8 Latin"

I'm being a bit snobby but, to my ear, Cal Tjaders' version on vibraphone sounds less "paint by the numbers" sounding. I still dig this version immensely.

Thanks Paul. Cal and Clare were among my heroes in the late 50's in SF and beyond.
