I did this in less than two weeks .. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN? Tbh i have no idea. Usually i need 2 months for a 1-2 min video haha.
Anyway .. since 3x04 there's much hate going around for Bellamy. People are criticizing the plot holes in his storyline in order to fully understand his actions. So what i tried here is to fill these plot holes. I don't know if i succeeded, you have to decide that. But i hope you enjoy this aaaand seriously, everyone who watches this video till the end gets a cookie from me ;)
Bob is doing an incredible job in portraying this character and it's such a shame that certain groups of people are attacking him for his character's actions, i mean excuse me? Stop that! He's working hard for this role, he deserves appreciation & love.

exo is my universe but how?! He killed Lincoln and betrayed his sister. He killed 300 grounders that were there to protect them. He killed innocent people and I know what you will say so did Clark and Octavia but that is different. Clark always made the impossible choices so that she carries it so they don’t have to. Bellamy just killed innocent people because he thought they were the bad guys.

There is good choices, there is bad choices and you can't always make good one. I don't know how to explain it well cause it is hard for me to explain myself in English. I'm the kind of people that will try to understand choices, I tend to not judge people when they make mistakes but I try to understand why they choose this or that. I try to understand how his life made him make to think like this. He didn't want Lincoln to die. I have so many thing to say but I don't have enough words. Bellamy is egoist because he doesn't want to lose more people, he doesn't want to experience that anymore. Some people are quick to judge him.... but don't you see? Clarke was able to see the good in grounders, so did Octavia, and many others. But Bellamy didn't. Grounders kept on letting him down, on disappointing him. At his eyes, they were only killers. And before you say anything, I know most of them are not, but Bellamy didn't got the chance to see that ANY time. Every time he trusted one people ended up dead. You need to understand that. Yes, it was wrong, completely wrong but he thought he was doing the right thing, he really never meant any harm, he just wanted to protect his people from the people who took so many of his loved ones.
clarke did the same thing by killing all those people. To protect HER people and bellamy has the audacity to judge her when he did the same thing and worse. He killed people for no reason
He judged Clark only once - after she chose grounders and Lexa(who betrayed them earlier) and she was willing to sacrifice not only others, but her own people including his sister. So he was right. Plus when did he kill without a reason?? People blame him, but he didnt have a knowledge about union between Clarke and Lexa(for him Lexa was still a traitor), so he did what he did from the beginning - protecting his people which included killing the army of grounders before they attacked them (like grounders did in the first season). I dont know how people can't see his reasons. Obviously killing is not good, but they were at war from the beginning and HE DIDN'T START THIS WAR.
nightwatch he did almost start the second war when Paic (I don’t know how to spell his name) went to kill 300 grounders and Bellamy joined him. He helped them kill Lincoln, Octavias boyfriend which was the biggest mistake he ever made. So yeah he betrayed his only family
@@nothingnothing6359 Ok, let's go back a little bit more. What happened before Bellamy joined Pike, hmm? Was it not after Lexa betrayed them at Mount Weather??? When she left them and they had to kill everyone? What was after aaaa grounders killed Bellamy's girlfriend and more of his people when he was trying to get Clarke back(that wasn't Lexa's fault, but she was a commander of all grounders and Bellamy didn't know about her secret coalition with Clarke). That's why he joined Pike and he killed the army.
You see the problem which people have with understanding this is that...Bellamy didn't have the info which Clarke had, he wasn't with her, he didn't make any union with grounders.. Plus Clarke left them, so she wasn't in a position to make any choices for sky people anymore tbh.. (And also some people have a problem with Bell bcos of clexa ship - which I don't care about- you can ship whatever you want, but what Lexa and grounders did to them before was just wrong and there's no question about that).
Anyway from Bellamy's point of view grounders attacked and betrayed them before, so he followed what they established before - he trusted only his people, sky people.He didn't help kill Lincoln, he helped to arrest him(to keep him quiet for a while) - that's a huge freakin difference(!) He never wanted this death to happen, same was with Kane. Pike promised him to keep his people safe, when Pike sentenced Kane to death - that was the moment when Bell saw the real Pike( that Pike didn't keep his word and he was willing to kill his own people) and THAT was the moment when Bell said NO.
@@nightwatch5513 the people of the Ark were aggressors from the beginning, although that was not their intention. they landed on land that already belonged to someone.
Bellamy's reasons are understandable, but he and Pike started a war they couldn't win. the only thing that saved them from total extinction was Jaha and his cult
I feel like the people who hate Bellamy and think the things he did in s3 were OOC need to see this. Sometimes we forget what Bellamy has gone through, what he has done for people and how they return the favour. He's seriously my favourite character in the whole show. Thankyou so much for this video! Can't wait to see his redemption for this season, I miss my happy lil cinnamon bun!

Bellamy is one of my favorite characters of all time. Everytime he cries, I'm crying too. I understand every decision of him, he do it for his people. He wants always the best for his people and that's one of the reasons why I love him.

I've been rewatching this recently and I LITERALLY have chills. Especially 3:28 on, my chest is tight the whole time until the end. Ugh, Bellamy was one of my favorite characters and I love the way this video struck at the core of his character. Someone who loves SO hard and "saves who we can save today". I know you made this around season 3, but it was even more fulfilling watching him grow from his mistakes and his choices and be such a formidable leader afterward. Wow, the line where Bellamy yells at Clarke about everything she did after she left him? That's literally one of my favorite scenes, just him laying out every reason he has to turn against her and the rest of his family. I love him so!!! You frame him so well!!!

Wow. This is one of the best videos I have seen omg. I honestly don't know how anyone would watch everything that Bellamy has gone through and not get why he is the way he is. Everyone got so mad at Bellamy when he sided with Pike, but if you think about it it makes a lot of sense. At the start of the season he was doing everything he could to get Clarke back because he cares so much about her only to have his girlfriend be blown up along with many others by grounders. Then the person he spent so much time tracking down chooses to stay with the grounders. Not to mention everything that happened at Mt. Weather. It makes sense that he would start blaming and hating the grounders since they had been killing people he started to care about ever since they came to the ground. I'm just happy he has gotten on the right track again and I hope the writers keep giving us more stuff to understand him as a character.

I adore Bellamy. He's the only character on the show that I've really attached to. This show is mostly story based, it's not really character driven and that can make it difficult to care enough to continue watching. Many times they lack the depth to make that critical human connection. Bellamy is the exception to that for me. He's complex and the most dynamic of the group. Watching him grow as a person has been a real treat, his struggle just feels very real compared to the other characters. I actually care about what happens to him, whereas the others only draw my attention based on their place in the story. This video is really well done, it does a very good job of highlighting who Bellamy is at his core and I applaud you.

Just gorgeous. It's crazy watching this now and seeing who Bellamy is in S6 (and who all the other characters have become - especially Octavia). This show really doesn't let any character go free without a few traumatic and morally questionable incidents.

Okay, so truth is, there are not enough words in the human vocabulary that could help me describe what I felt while watching your video and how perfect it is. I can try though. THIS IS A FREAKING MASTERPIECE. My emotions were all over the place while watching it and you made me love bellamy even mroe than I already have (which I never thought could be possible). Seriously... WOW. I don't know how to describe what I felt watching this video, it was a mix of emotions that I cannot put down in words. You are so extremely talented, not only at editing the video itself but also at choosing the perfect song and creating the perfect setting. I loved the scenes you chose and the lack of a powerful coloring. Everything was very simple yet REALLY Powerful. The sounds, the dialogues, the way you mixed everything together. Seriously WOW. Octavia found someone who accepted her, and loved her for who she was...and taught her to become who she was meant to be. She does have Bellamy thou, none of us can say, and mean it!, that he doesn't truly love his sister and will always be there for her. She and Lincoln were together the longest of any couple on the show, and truly loved one another. Big hole in her heart and world. Bell has been there since he was 6 to step up, be there, and take care of her...dad/brother/best friend/protector....he has risked his life over and over for her, never wanted to be the cause of her pain, EVER....let's hope she can realize that. Deep down, can we say how she would have felt, if after Lincoln took the drug leaving Bell for dead and Maya to save, how she would have been if Maya hadn't? Lincoln and Bell made mistakes, Maya saved Bell...Bellamy went to Octavia for help, he loved Lincoln, and never held a grudge over what happened. Bellamy would have taken that bullet for Lincoln! Octavia and Lincoln KNEW Bell was in pain, lost. defeated, hopeless...where were they? Why were they not comforting him? Reassuring him? Helping him realize he was NOT to blame for Gina's death, as Pike told him he was? He needed his sister, he was hurting, bad! I really want Bell and O to work their relationship out, really...and all these teeny bopper "ships" and name combining can go to hell. This brother/sister love and relationship matters most, to me. Not, under ANY circumstance, who is doing who....

Agree! Bellamy was there for her since the beginning. He named her and raised her. He loves her so much and she is the one who he cares about the most. I just want Octavia to understand that her brother will always be there for her no matter what. He didn't kill Lincoln, maybe he was the reason of it but we move on. He lost his girlfriend too and thought that was his fault when it wasn't. I know that Octavia needed time when Lincoln died but now world is ending and she won't still forgive Bellamy. I want them to work out their relationship. Blake family is only thing i care about

Oh god, this is so sad.. I stopped watching awhile back but Bellamy was always my #1 guy; the latter half where you incorporated older scenes/voiceovers (i.e. Jaha's "murderer" to bellamy, and the "I didn't know that would happen") with the new scenes where we see bellamy killing the grounders, getting beat up, etc. is soo brilliant. The side by side scene where we see Lincoln getting shot (I think?) and Bellamy getting punched was heartbreaking. You are brilliant. :)

At first I wanted to tell you that this video is amazing. Great job with voiceovers. U perfectly captured his character. it' s just stunning !! now about Bellamy. He obviously believed that he was doing everything possible to protect his people while knowing it might not be the way that ppl will understand or see as a good way. And it wasn't a good way..But that doesnt change the fact that he would to anything to protect the ones he loves. Bellamy's character is definitely one of my fav of all. I absolutely love the way the creators are playing with his character, and so fans dont know if to love him or hate him. I' ve loved this character from the beginning and i'll aways do. Not to mention that Bob is an excellent actor !!! I could not possibly image better choice for this role.

almost two years later, and i still think this is hands down the best bellamy vid out there. don't get me wrong, guilt is all i have left is another masterpiece (just as all of your vids), but here there is all his struggle, his journey, and it's powerful in a way no other vid about him got me anja!! fucking me up so bloody much, because this is just so amazing, and my son is such a tormented person and i love him so much!!

When he started acting like that in season 3 I was confused and kinda on the side of everyone else but then I realized all the reasons why he did it. Even if he is wrong, he had his reasons. I've loved watching him transform and can't wait to see him grow more. He's always had such a big heart and I don't feel like anyone sees that because of that he does everything that he does

But it's not just Bellamy, people dislike Jasper and are pretty much annoyed by him cause he's so whiny .. when Devon studied for months on how to portray a character with ptsd. "shallow watching" !! I can't stand that haha. And like you said, they all have done bad things and i absolutely enjoy to follow those HUMAN reactions. Everyone reacts differently.

The fact that Bellamy and Clarke have such differing views in Season 3 after Mount Weather is amazing. They are both, on a deep level, affected by the turn of events. For Clarke, who knew Lexa abandoned them and had to come up with a back up plan, needs time to learn about the Grounders and how they operate. She never comes into direct contact with Maya or the others until the finale, and did not trust them even when she escaped. She trusted a Grounder and got out alive. Bellamy spends much more time in the mountain and it is Maya who saves him and he comes to learn about the people who helped the 100 stay alive. When Lexa betrays them, they are left on the verge of freedom with no Grounders and few allies, knowing that plan B is kill everyone in the mountain with radiation so the 100 and Ark citizens survive. Amazing way to carry on the narrative.
