- I'm very excited to share my Ancient Ram Inn investigation. The Ancient Ram Inn has gained notoriety from its dark history, ghost stories and demonic activity. It is considered one of the most haunted places in England. I experienced some strange occurrences during the night including a temperature reading of 666 caught on tape. In this video I give a full tour of the haunted Ancient Ram Inn, recount some of its most famous ghost stories and tales of demonic activity. I conduct paranormal investigations in several of its rooms including the downstairs kitchen area, the barn, the Witches Room, the Bishop's Room and the attic. Most compelling is a strange temperature reading that I capture inside the Witches Room and a spirit box session I conduct within the Bishop's Room.

Sometimes I have dreams about this place like in a past life someone dared me to enter this place as I have never left the untied states. Everytime I have the dream I'm in the inn alone and I hear a weird sound. Before I can turn to look I always wake up.

Absolutely! I try to respond to all of the comments. I actually was in Edinburgh and planning to release a video soon about the castle. I knew about the vaults, but unfortunately we ran out of time and didn't get the chance to venture inside. It is definitely on my list for next time.

Is this place now just open for tours? Or does anyone actually own/live in it? Also do you have any haunted locations on your list in the states?
It is just tours now. The previous owner recently passed away, but did used to live in the inn. It was also once open as a bed n' breakfast. I would have loved to stay the night, ha ha. There are so many haunted places in the States that I really want to visit. I'm not sure when I'll make it back there, but I will be back one day! Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Kentucky is high up on my wishlist! 🖤🖤🖤

Hi Amy first off all i have to applaud your guts for investigating what has to be one of the creepiest old joints i,ve ever seen 👍 i dont know if it was pointed out to you but when you were in the witches room at 7.31 i could hear a voice in the background i dont know if anyone else was outside the room talking and also at 7.36 i heard a child laughing as you about to sit on the bed 😨 anyway your one brave girl and what an awesome old house that is, i dont think i would like to stay the night tho 👎 keep up the good work luv 😊

I went with a company called Haunted Happenings and I highly recommend them, if you wanted to check them out. Just looked back at this and noticed it too! Great spotting, no idea how I missed that when editing. I really love the spirit box. You asked 'How many spirits are in this room with me' and I heard almost a musical reply 'Spirits' on the box. I know some doubters will say this is outside sound but I feel that some are direct answers and sometimes with these evil entities you may hear noises. When you asked 'Is this your room' I most certainly heard 'yes'. It is creepy. I know I wouldn't sleep well in any rooms in the inn. yikes.
Thanks Lisa. I can't lie - I am a skeptic of the spirit box, myself. But I must admit I have also picked up some really interesting responses. I think my favorite one was in Chillingham Castle dungeon. The walls were thick and we were in the middle of nowhere (so radio station interference very unlikely) and I got super clear responses. What is more strange, is neither Jarrad or I heard them at the time of filming 🖤🖤🖤

That was definitely a bug. I could see the wings. Awesome that you had the 2nd temperature gauge. The 66.6 would have just been a creepy coincidence, but having 2 gauges with such different readings makes the 66.6 straight up scary.

I heard "sixty" not "Kiss me" when you ask how many ghost are there. Then after you repeat it, I heard "several" @ 15:27. Also, when you ask what his name, he repeat "xander" also after that, I heard "devil" @ 14:05. I just recently discovered your channel and I really enjoying it. You are so very brave, Amy, you are an inspiration. I have a two encounters of something whispering abruptly in my ears, one in 2011 and one just last week. I panic at my first encounter but the last one I thought of you on how will you handle that so I calm myself down and shrugged it off and sleep. Thank you!

What a great video, Amy! I've read this is the most haunted place in the World, one internet site. Maybe they are more receptive to hearing spirits than I am. I'd like to stay the night in the room in the Attic. Creepy. I don't think I'd like the Bishop's room. I guess I'm thinking of the incubus scene from Ghostbusters.
It seems that building over gravesites seems to encourage this sort of stuff. Did you find anything like marching soldiers in the basement? Being as ancient as this place, who knows the full story of went on there. Thanks so much, Amy!
So, are you going to buy Britain's most haunted house? I've seen a website where someone interviewed the last owner, and he said it was terrifying, knowing all the children were sacrificed there.
I wish I could afford to buy a house haha. We didn't encounter any marching soldiers, unfortunately. But in the video I filmed in York there is a similar ghost story about marching soldiers in the basement. Thanks for watching 🖤🖤🖤
