- Some more rubbish art. Literally.
Last year I had an offer to put some work on display at The Watermen's Gallery, which is on the quayside in Falmouth, Cornwall (do check out owner Sophi's amazing landscape paintings - see link below). So, with it being a harbour town, I went for a sea theme and made two seahorses. Oh, and then I was ispired to make a blue(tooth) whale. I made some phoney owls too.
All of the materials involved were recycled - there's something extra rewarding about giving garbage a second life rather than it rotting away in some landfill site.
Huge thanks also to m'chum Mark Page for the massive bag of plastic mobile phone cases and keyboards.

(And yes, I know that whales aren't fish.)
we are the council of time travellers and we look forward to the ongoing process of these marvels created
If you were a time traveller, surely you'd look forward to and backward to?
Phoney Owls and Phoney Fish
What's next Phoney Phones?
Or perhaps... Fishy Fones?
There's something uniquely wonderful about making art with trash...
How I wish I could go to England freely just to buy something from that shop.
i wish i got that second seahorse , prettiest steampunk looking thing ive ever seen.

O great artist of our time, have a comment for the algotithm.
I love the fact that, due to being the name of a group of owls, they could be called a phoney parliament :)
Modern technology has all led up to this masterpiece
These are so awesome!!!!!!! I love your sculptures, all of the ones I've seen are so whimsical and unique, you make it seem so effortless, so delicate and dainty, chaotic and random and haphazard, but I know it takes serious discipline and design knowledge to effectively convey that aesthetic. It's totally awesome!!
A phoney phish? How about a fishy fone?
You have a great eye for balancing and using textures in your compositions. And you do really well at complementing that with your color work
These are just amazing! Truly a good use of what would usually go to waste!
Your new intro is so epic. Don't ever change it.
This just brings me so much joy
I love these instruments there so creative
I bet you could make a pretty cool Samurai with those phone parts...
Very phonoful phish 📞🐟
I admire these vids, toodlepip I am gonna sleep now
So creative, makes me want to get back to creating stuff! Started making critters out of pipe-cleaners I found. :D
That's great! 😃

colganology :D
I love it ! Colganology's channel is such a strange yet passionating rabbit hole full of imagination ! Also, I wonder what's the size of the silo where he stocks his beads.
So wonderfully creative!
What a wonderful p(h)uny name!
That was awesome!
I must see
Would those owls be Nokiaturnal?
10/10!
one of the first
Where was bro😭
I'm sure you know what you're doing (as much as a man making animals out of phone parts can, anyway), but isn't PVA a somewhat bad glue for this purpose? I'm a scale model/figure hobbyist, and from my experience it can't even make sand adhere to a diorama base properly. Maybe cyanoacrylate superglue would be a better choice?
I only used PVA to stick the polystyrene cores together (CA superglue melts it as does hot glue). Elsewhere I used CA glue or hot glue. For stronger bonds I used a two part epoxy.
