Tiff Needell 'wins' the Euromillions lottery! Well, sort of. Paul Woodman joins Tiff on a very impressive Sunseeker yacht with 3,000HP! But of course, this is Lovecars, we're here to drive some cars, and Tiff has two very special cars lined up.
The Moke is back! Taking inspiration from the original, BMC Mini Moke, which was first produced in 1964, with over 50,000 produced Worldwide. Moke International are now putting the model back on the road, with 60% of the parts coming from Europe!
The new Moke is powered by a Nissan engine, producing 67HP and available with either a four speed automatic, or four speed manual gearbox. It's not quick, with a top speed of 68MPH, but it certainly is fun for £26,500, and you fit four people in them, too!
Forget your Ferrari in the South of France, you need a Moke!

They're fun and all, but £26,000? That's ridiculous.
When you consider that you can get a 'Genuine Mini Moke' for less. I have a 1988 Portuguese made one in almost new condition that was £10,000 cheaper. And its got a Mini engine (998cc and the mini front n rear subframes)..
Met Tiff at the recent MotoGP at Silvestone in the BRDC stand and shook his hand, was an honour, sorry for hassling you Tiff!
Stop knocking the British weather, it's fantastic! It has less annual rainfall than the Bahamas, Thailand or New Zealand. It's mild, non-threatening (no hurricanes, earthquakes, tempests, etc) and creates a beautiful, lush country. Embrace it! :-)
Exactly! I'm an Aussie living in Scotland and there is never a bad weather day here. It's all about how you look at it. I wouldn't rather be anywhere else.

Wow! Is it really back?! Fantastic! In Australia we had the "Moke Californian" which was a slightly more tricked up version!
Guys this show gets better and better where I live we still see a few of these mokes in the summer, sun, grit and a surfboard thrown inside loads of fun… I was very tempted to buy one, but settled for buying my wife a Z4 instead to cruise the coastline locally in Australia. Nothing beats open top motoring, I don’t care how you do it…
Love the idea of a surfboard in a Moke! Perhaps you could do the same with the Z4? 🤔

Great Video but at that price you can get a classic proper Mini Moke with all the fun parts from the iconic mini, like the proper A series engine and the subframes (and have change left over). Didn't see or hear you mention if the vinyl top is included in the price? I have a 1988 Portuguese made Mini Moke and its great fun (and I can see when the indicator is on)....

£26,500…….. what are the smoking?? Madness.
Everyone seems to consider £26000 excessive. I was quoted £12000 for a hoist to lift someone out of a hot tub and £18000 for an electric wheelchair, for indoor use. Doesn't seem that much to me.

Another example if slow = fun. The size of the brakes and crumple zones really does determine the size of the balls.

I've just come back from and afternoon with Cambs Mini Club and I really wish one of the members had one of these.
I knew they were being made again as I googled Hendy's after seeing a Moke in a video by Petrol Ped. He has some kind of deal going on with Hendy's.

@@lovecarsTV thanks, I just linked the video to Lincolnshire Mini Owners and Cambs Mini Club. I like a bit of variety amongst the Mini's. At a show last week, one chap had a Scamp which was Mini based , mokeish but a van with a very square front. Also a few Mini based kit cars were there, a GTM, a Midas, a Jem Mini Marcos. There was a stretched Mini and a chopped one and even a Mini Metro. It was a great day out for us Mini owners.

£26,000!? For what? Even back in the day allowing for inflation it's under £7,000 new So what exactly is all that money going on, the name?
Don't knock the British weather. 20c over here is a beautiful day. 20c back home in Perth WA is still jumper weather. It's all relative and here it is jist gorgeous.
