Dave is great. It's nice to see that he has matured. Admittedly, if I were to have known him, or even been alive, for that matter, when Megadeth was first beginning, I don't think I would have enjoyed being around him. He was an alcoholic and a druggy who was incredibly arrogant. That does not bode well with me at all... So it's nice to see him as a matured person.

I whole heartily agree with him about today's generation of players.
I don't think I've ever met someone under 40 that still plays rhythm (well).
It's all about speed, and the quickest way to getting good. And foremost, getting laid.
*IMO the world needs more bass players, more people like Dave Ellefson, Cliff Burton & Rex Brown, there are **_WAY_** too many aspiring virtuoso guitarists, who once they reach a level of proficiency couldn't even write a song if their lives depended on it.*

@@xanderhernandez9598 Drummers also, way too many Steve Vai wannabe's. I actually thought about starting to learn bass, it is an amazing instrument when you can actually hear it on an album, the German Thrash Metal bands knew how to play bass. I think Quonthon said it best when he said that you should learn how to play bass drumms and guitar.
