I respect Dave's beliefs but i won't go that route anymore. Of course, i never had a drug abuse background and I drank a lot in my 30s and part of my 40s. I rarely drink now. Of course, I'm also a goofy drunk. But a lot of caffeine makes me irritable and mean. It's weird how chemicals affect people differently.
Point being it's good for Dave that he found something to help him out.

What Dave failed to mention is he gave that guy a broken leg ( around 1982 ) because he pushed Lars on the ground and was about to kick his ass .

Dave went the straight and narrow. He really needed to. Abusing hard drugs for that long was about to catch up with him again. Dave is a really intellegant man. He has a refreshing approach to the music business. Also a no taking bullshit kind of person.

When Dave Mustaine "quit" Megadeth and gave all the rights to Ellefson and then changed his mind. Lawsuits and ugliness ensued. After Ellefson lost the lawsuit, they got back together... eventually.

He was using Megadeth's name to advertise signature bass amplifiers (Peavey I think) without the approval of the band. When he was told not to do it by Dave's manager and the rest of the band, he sued Dave.

@OralAgreement69 It's not like Ellefson was just some guy along for the ride. He was: a.) the only person that could handle Mustaine, but b.) Also was the only guy that really made the music "heavy" he was the groove and the low end of the music. I'm glad he's back in the band, maybe the music will get better now.

Actually that was Dave newly converted and wanted to let them play and not have Megadeth but the promoters got the other bands kicked out.
In 2012, Megadeth played at Hellfest which had Behemoth. I think it was Hellfest.

cause Mustaine was taking most of megadeth's profit,screwed the other members out of some deals and also Ellefson claimed that Mustaine faked his injury

when Dave got his arm injury ellefson thought he just didnt want any more to do With megadeth, so ellefson left and he didnt want dave to keep on using the band name so he sued him.
