The phrase "Laa Ilaha illa Allah", can also be a form of basic Boolean equation/expression. Where,the Boolean operator would be the word "illa".
Any word/phrase/event/etc which come after the word "illa", would ALWAYS be TRUE, valid, Haq. In this case, the word is "Allah"
And, any word/phrase/event/etc which appear before the word "illa", would ALAWAYS be NOT TRUE, invalid,Batil. In this case, the words are "laa Ilaha".
This boolean expression/equations could be found throughout Quran, where The Creator uses the boolean operator "illa"or "illa An" to guide us what/which (false) understanding, beliefs, knowledge, etc are INVALID and are NOT TRUE and to be DISMISSED; and which understanding, beliefs, knowledge, etc is the TRUTH and HAQ and to be ACCEPTED/EMBRACED
In this case "Laa Ila" is an invalid undertstanding, since there actually is an "Ila" , which, Allah is the "Ila"
QS 114: 1-3, Allah is "Rabb, Ila & Malik" to An-Naas
Unfortunately, standard islamic narrative/tradition, at most times, applied all sorts of gymnastics in order to “re-validate” and reintroduce what Allah clearly has “invalidated”

What i can share here is my little experience which i faced and may be still facing that i am trying to abandon all traditional Islamic stuff but i did not experience no god bcoz i loved quran very much with my heart and its a word of allah so i cannot detached myself from god.i was also a hadith lover when ahle hadith a jamaat introduced in india it gain very much popularity in india and in arab countries,but what i saw that there is no proper salah in any hadith which defines thier own claim its a tie between all these so called fiqh they were still fighting in these matter but since from starting reading the quran and its translation i was not satisfied with its translation and the mullas claim that if you want to understand quran you have to go through the hadith and here is the point why they are still struggling and they say if someone starts to understand the quran with thier own understanding meaning without thier so called elders beliefs or thier school of fiqh you will be gumrah,but when i read the ahaadith i couldn't find much relativity between quran and hadith there are few topic which are mentioned in hadith especially related to law and system but you cannot find all the answers of the quran in hadith.so finally there are some good quran lovers coming online now to express thier method,discipline delay diligent understanding of quran and now i am started to getting the link or you can say allah is unraveling the hoor of the quran.There is lot more to speak but for this topic all i was experienced i have shared with you all.
The important issue is that you now accept the Quran and only the Quran. Well Done and thank you for sharing.

According to Dr. Rafat Amari, the Sabians look toward Yemen and pray 5 times a day..

Muhammad simply picked up these pagan rituals and adapted them to his new religion while claiming they were instructions from Allah…

La illaha illAllah hu al hay al qyum = Not an Idol (lifeless Deity) but Allah is The living & Self existing. ILA in Arabic means Apotheosized /elevate to, or as if to, the rank of a god; idolize.

The phrase 'لا الهَ الاّ الله' can reboot / reconfigure the mind if you think about it. The phrase contains a double negative to establish the only thing that it supposed to establish. It is suppose to Annihilate everything [worldviews / religions , cultures & traditions / the-self / the sense of being] for/to nothing but Allah and nothing else. I think Agnosticism is more fitting than Atheism , because A- of negation : (Without) and Gnosis : (Knowledge) is the event of implosion of everything to reinstate what it is.
While Atheism is already assuring that there is "nothing" in a materialist sense and believing in the Dogma of lowest part of perception, nothing but there is.
Etymology of God : to Invoke / to call upon / to implore , from "ǥuđan" in the germanic conception of Allah.
Allah is not “The God” , Allah is not only “The Invoked” , so I suggest that you to stop using God to describe Allah as there is nothing alike. Allah is not a contraction of Illah.
ǥuđan / waheguru / mazda / yahuah is no different than Ar-rahman and other "99" names / attributes of Allah.
Now, ‘Illah’ means : God / [a verb for the act of reverence for a descriptor]
‘Al-illah’ means : The God / The [verb act of reverence for a descriptor]
لا الهَ الاّ الله

There Is no

I found this particular video different to grasp as you suggested that we should become atheists before believing in lailaha illil lah. Over my dead body will I become an atheist. Have I misunderstood this video? Please explain?

Salaams Dear Brother. You have already accepted the Quran and ONLY the Quran. There was a time when you accepted other books as well like the Ahadiths. But you made a transition, which means that you went through the process of La ilaha - There is no god - to arrive at - ilallah - except Allah. So the transition did take place which you yourself did not realize. I hope this clears things for you.
