The brush strokes look magical.
I can't find the words that are strong enough to tell you how good your paintings make me feel, how much I admire your talent, how thankful I am that you take the time needed to produce these videos of your work, and how movingly beautiful your completed works are. Would that I could afford even a small reproduction of this piece or one of your others with wee young children. The blonde girls especially bring me back to memories from when i was a little girl. And memories from toddlerhood are hard to come by for most of us. They affect me in a wonderful way. Somehow I can feel my innocence and wonder at the subject of the memory even as I realize how clean a 2 year old's brain still is. I mean how many disappointments, heartaches and losses has a toddler suffered in the short span of 24 months in comparison to my 52 years collecting them?
Picture a spanking new office with empty filing cabinets waiting for subject matter and empty drawers except for the basic necessities like staplers and pens. That's a 2 year old's brain where every file is carefully placed. My brain looks like it belongs on the Hoarder's show now. It's no wonder I can't find my memories until they're triggered.
And that's where you came in today as I watched you do all but breathe life into paint. You gave a rare, 50 year old memory back to me along with the feeling of innocent weightlessness and combined with the pure joy of drinking in your magic.

this is a beautiful video, thank you for sharing that ^_^ I just wanted to see how people paint sunny, especially after having seen such a beautiful Sorolla exhibition this year it made me curious. There is so much knowledge about the appliance of colors in being able to do that :( it must have taken a lot of practise, but the result is really great keep it up ^^
