i genuinely like how with ets2 10 years ago we had animated trains with no collisions and now we have fully functional trains that stop and go exactly by the track much like an ai.
i noticed in ets2 over the past years some crossings were fred from invisible walls and if my correct there's crossings without bars at all. in all cases the train will stop completely but if you decide to cross right when its passing then it can hit you and end up with 100% damage.
The train stopped? I did this in ATS and the crash was so bad I got a couple of frames with the truck looking like it was separated from the cab under the map and then the game crashed.
I've got the extra long freight train mod for ATS. Because I love sitting watching trains go by....PAAAARP PAAAARPPPPP...clickety clack...clickety clack....VRRRRRRRM😂
One time there was a train parked up at the yard so me and the boys were waiting over an hour till someone said fuck this and lifted the gates after the operator saw a line of cars longer than his rail cars he finally moved forward enough to shut the rail off
CAUTION Train will not atop like this in real life so never ever try this in real life
