Video Editing on your Chromebook with Kdenlive

- Today I'm going to show you how to do some video editing on your Chromebook with Kdenlive. Kdenlive is a fantastic, and free, full featured video editor and we're going to get it installed and fix an issue with it.

Awesome, very handy. I was trying to use an OpenGL based software called PyMOL on my chromebook but the glitching and flickering was absolutely killing me. I went ahead and turned the flag off in general (and haven't needed it for anything else) but this is great. Thanks!

Yes, you have to put them under 'Linux Files' in the files app
Video editing has always been a frustration. No way around it, the best software for video editing is expensive. The free software is always missing a feature or so quirky that it is a headache to use. I installed the older version of kdenlive on my chromebook after watching your first video a couple years back and it was never solid. I had it on an i5 and it lagged pretty bad. I couldn't take it and had to go with adobe on my Laptop which is also i5. Since then it is pretty hard to even want to try working with anything else. I can do most everything I need to on the chromebook until it comes to video editing. If only chromebook could video edit well. Until then I travel with my chromebook and my video/photo editing laptop.
Yeah, the newer versions of Kdenlive will work great for relatively basic edits, but if you're doing resolution higher than 1080p and / or have a lot of effects, overlays, layers and transitions then it starts to lag.
I definitely wouldn't get a Chromebook for video editing, but this is just to inform people of an option, for those that own Chromebooks already.

i got error of this
error: Flatpak system operation ConfigureRemote not allowed for user
If you don't set up Flatpak under the user you'll get that message.
