update! gonna continue doing just this series but i think ill just make the videos 30 - 50 mins long. maybe upload once a week or every 4 days, who knows. going to see how the channel runs if the videos arent astronomically long and going to kind of mess around and have fun with stuff instead of focusing on objectives and trying to finish things fast. need to unlearn that style of recording and have fun again. also going to add some more mods to the world to make it more alive, regular minecraft is just too dead and empty. hope youre all excited for episode 11!!

32:41 I think it might seem like we’re bored because it has been the same for almost a month. It’s a grey wal every Wednesday. I personally don’t mind bc I love to hear you talk and listen to how you think, but it was a bit weird for me too in the beginning and I had to get used to it. Those 100(0) days were filled with a lot of thrill and excitement and this is more chill. People have to get used to it I think.
I don’t think a 30 hr video would even work on CZcams, but I don’t think anyone would watch over 6 hrs. This build is coming along great, and I LOVE the idea of a fishing village around the outside. I also agree, a skylight would be cool. Maybe you could even use some colored glass and give it a stained glass feel.
30 hours is definitely possible, I've come across a video that was one year long

I watch some Minecraft videos that are 10 hours 😭
1) Cinematic shots are nice. Personally, I'm give or take with it because some people highlight the wrong moments, but it can be entertaining when done well.

3) Please find a mod to expand the storage on your donkey! Honestly, I'd be ok with backpacks as well. All these amazing updates to Minecraft and inventory/storage has not been one 🤦

5) I can get behind uploading whenever if the episodes are shorter. As long as it's not too far in between.

A city sounds sick, it can be an island city where each house (or a few houses) is connected by bridges. And you can put lanterns and lilipads all around. It’ll be so pretty
The walls could have a house half under and half sticking outside and the back door of said house access the underground area of the trading hall dont waste that space underneath something very cool like a lush underground village with a river running thru and maybe coming out of one side of the wall as a waterfall so many cool things could ne done with this build im really loving this build bro
For inventory space you could just add a mod that increases the stack size of blocks, I think that would be less cheaty than using backpacks…

48:02 Shadow demons and other magical things are actually very common in Essos, not so much in Westeros, but are still known and magic will become more widely seen as the series goes on. It is speculated that magic was very weak and sparse once the dragons died out because they were the largest things connected to the essence of magic, so with the three coming back magic is too, but there were Red Priests and other magic users before them that used magic. Melisandre being one of them (the woman that made the shadow demon)

I mean you can choose the colors I’m just spitballing ideas

i do rlly like the cinematic shots, but when it was conflicting with the mod that lets you see out really far, i wasn’t a fan lol.
id be down to have a second build to also work on for episodes, so things don’t get TOO repetitive.
bi-weekly is good for me personally just because of how hectic my life’s been recently
i think getting the artist who is doing the thumbnails for this 2nd channel to do the 1st channel would be rlly cool, but def want to make them stand out from each other. a great way to do that without forcing a new style to be learned could be to have a very distinct color palette for one channel as compared to the other (like maybe a “hot/warm” palette compared to a “cool/cold” palette)
I would love to see sewer tunnels under the trading hall connecting all the water areas between the towns and then u could also have catacombs under the trading hall for all the villagers who have perished

the floors should be deapslate tiles and red carpet it looks very gothic cathedral like and darkens up a build well.
I'm just gonna say ...Frog Lights.... It would be a great addition to the Nether build as well as be a different source of light instead of all sea lanterns.

If you had house attached to the walls of the trading hall, it could look super cool and you wouldn’t have to do as much editing to the walls since they look so flat right now.

It sounds to me like YOU want to do biweekly videos. I think you should do what YOU want to do and what is best for YOU. Because if you are not enjoying what you are doing then we won’t enjoy it
I've seen a 37 hour video and it took 2 days to watch but I really enjoyed it and I wouldn't mind watching a 30+ hour video, I love watching/listening to longer videos as I play

The villager changes haven’t been announced to be in any update. They seem to have stoped working on that while getting 1.21 ready.
What about a bi weekly Minecraft series and in de off week a short half an hour or 45min video of a random game, like a horror game with facecam 👀👀👀
You said you wanted to play a different game, and another option besides one block sky block, there are Minecraft escape rooms. There are a lot of maps. If it sounds fun to you maybe it’s a good option as well. I’ll watch whatever you upload either way :)

Loving the support for Jack Gleeson. He’s SUCH an incredible actor. It’s insane. I agree, he REALLY sold that role. Blew it clean out of the water. And 100% Ned could’ve been a great character further on. I’m just typing this comment as I’m watching the video lol but no, Ned was such a great character and I’m so bummed that he got killed off so early. He was such a valuable character and I agree, an amazing actor. And yea, Ned’s death was 100% the catalyst for a large majority of the rest of the show. Like none of it would’ve happened if Joffrey hadn’t ordered Ned to be killed. And yessss I like the thumbnails!! So creative. I love them. Minecraft is obviously a pretty basic art style so seeing those beautiful hand-drawn thumbnails is so great. I’d love to see more of them for sure. I don’t feel outrage over taking down the buildings but I’m weirdly sad about it 😂 like that’s so much time and effort put into those buildings and they’re like nostalgic?? And they’re just gone lol but I’m optimistic about the future!! “I’m going to kill you, you’re starting to bug me” sent me. “Anywhose” brings me so much joy. I don’t know what one piece is but I love hearing people talk about things that make them happy. 20-30 minutes every 3 days is less good than the full movies weekly or biweekly. Like I’m happy either way. But I LOVE the long videos. I watched your 7.5h Fallout video and was bummed when it ended. Like? I’m happy with the long ones. But like if we do short ones here and long ones on the main?? I don’t know. I’m happy either way. Like shorter videos more frequently ends up being the same amount of video, right? I don’t know. btw you don't need to put stone in the stone cutter. doing it in your 4x4 gives you a stack for a stack to so really just mining the stone then using this method means you don't have to back to base. love the vids
Chests cause lag use barrels signs do cause as well but waxing the signs helps reduce lag
Skyes! I cannot get this idea out of my head! Every part that is touching water put mossy stone bricks creeping up the sides of the build. Like an accumulation of "algae" from the water.
I like the pace you are building, if you need to switch it up, maybe some explory explore some in between! IDK you could just bop around and yap and we would still watch💙💙
i personally would enjoy a 1000 day movie, it would take me multiple days to finish it but i would watch the entire thing

I read One piece and it's really good if you read all in one go. If you have to wait each week to read the next chapter or every three month to read the next volume, it can be boring. But if you have the ability to read all in one go, I absolutely recommend
Cinimatics are great, a city would pull the main villager base together, personally I would watch a 30 hr video bc I always watch long videos while drawing to save time from picking new vids, and the white calcite like stone is diorite I'm pretty sure, also a double chest mod would be fine imo since ur building so much, multiple series are good I watch regardless but make sure they are in playlists bc I don't rewatch series I can't easily find and it will often make me lose interest when I find a new youtuber who doesnt organize series bc then you have to dig through videos to even find what I want or hopesomeone else made a public playlist of it in order
I don't care what the videos are as long as I get to hear the Legendary yapping sessions and the movie reviews which honestly is great addition to the videos.

I love these videos and got kinda sad when I noticed you hadnt uploaded. Also, as much as I wanna see the mega build finished I think it'd be a good idea to work on two builds so you don't get bored. You should add a mod that allows the stone cutter to remember the last input, you you dont have to click the bricks everytime

You'll still need to be wary of zombie sieges. Zombies wilk spawn no matter the light level when that happens.

i watch One Piece and I do recommend it. Though it is long, it is definetly worth the watch. However, there are many filler episodes so you might want to search up a filler list before watching. The manga is amazing by the way. Also, I don't mind what you post as long as you keep posting 😁😁😁😁😁😁

heya, i love how the build is going so far, its honestly amazing. for the courtyard that goes into the desert you can just switch out the gross looking grass for moss, and im pretty sure you can just bonemeal the moss to replace the grass. and of course azalea leaves wont change colors in the desert. i dont know if this was something you already thought of or not, and im only an hour in so far. again though, amazing build, and i love listening to your videos when i need to get stuff done. its kinda like having a adhd work double lol

If you decide to move towards doing more Bethesda games on your main channel, you’ll definitely have a lot of content! I can confidently say I’ve put at least 20k hours just into Skyrim since it came out (over 2 different game systems but still), and given how much we all like to listen to you talk and commentate while you play it’ll be just as fun to watch :)

Yes, I 1000% recommend One Piece! It's long but worth it! That has been my favorite anime since before I knew what anime was. I remember watching it as a kid. Then when I rediscovered it in high school I fell in love all over again. Even as an adult, it's still holding up. I would recommend this show to any and everyone!

Regarding the buildings there is a lot of different styles and what was used in them. It depends on era and place, so if You find some references You like it will be fine. Or just do what will feel and look good, there's a high chance You will be right ^^.
Personally I don't really care what mods or resource packs You use, I wouldn't like some crazy "cheaty" mod.
I like watching all let's plays even from games I never played and probably never will. So I wouldn't mind series from other games ^^.
I replay older videos from creators I like, so I don't mind upload every two weeks. And I do agree that Skews burning out is what would be bad for everyone.

Skyes next time you want to smelt things try to use slabs because one log =4 planks=8 slabs and every 1 slab = 1.5 smelled thing so 8 slabs =12 things smelled meaning 1 charcoal is worse than the 8 slabs that you get from one log. So please use slabs for smelting as is the 3rd best fuel source after lava and blaze rodes. Thank you.

Do an under railroad for your villagers, then you won't have much to clean up & you could expand the railway for other things
install some new nether mods like horror packs, and like new structures is way better than just the regular nether
Little bit late to the party, but I really love One Piece.... However I do understand how daunting it's episode and chapter count is. The reason I got into it is because I had a minor surgery in 2020, so the only thing I could do was my online schooling or watching shows. I decided to give it a shot, and blew through all of the episodes (at the time) in less than a month. Maybe it could be a show you watch while doing stuff on the main channel? Like what you're doing with this channel? I typically watch these videos on my lunch breaks at work, so I always look forward to an upload from you, no matter what length of time it is.
In defense of One Piece, I like that it has a very strong message of loyalty and found family and friends. I know it's not a show for everyone to be able to enjoy, but it shows how much someone can do with their actions. How much impact you can have on the world (and other people) with words, actions, or no actions. There's redemption arcs that have come out of nowhere, but have resulted in characters that I find myself rooting for where once I'd been unable to stomach their personalities or the actions they were taking. I feel like the show properly shows how not everyone in a position of power and authority is a good person, or how not every Marine is the enemy. Just like it shows that while there's many bad eggs among pirates, there's also many who are trying to find where they belong in the world. Or at least trying to leave their mark on the world. There's many villains with sympathetic backgrounds and (like mentioned before) many stories of people completely flipping the script on who they were before. Usually after a considerable ass whooping with a side of humble pie.....
Despite the length of the show, I'd encourage you to give at least the first couple episodes a shot, and go from there. If it's not your cup of tea, then at least you tried it. And if it is your cup of tea, then congratulations, you have plenty of episodes to watch.
As always, I enjoyed the video, and I find myself incredibly happy that I have a couple of episodes to watch, as well. Keep doing your thing, Skyes. You do what you want to do, and inevitably the video will find its crowd.

Breed them in area where they are going so your not moving them very far a mine cart and a few tracks its super easy also leave them in mine cart till they are secured with a trap door then break mine cart shift and go in and pick it up easy easy bro i just moved 50 villagers

Love the drawn thumbnails. Think its a good idea to have them in a diffrent style for the main chanel
When you collect resources from the hole it might be better to just put what you need for the building at the building and only put what you dont need at your base so that you wont have to take as many trips back and forth from your base and the building
Polished diorite/Polished deepslate and Polished granite/Polished andesite are both good floors in checker pattern.

I'd much rather have a bi weekly update and know that you and your team are not stressing yourselves out constantly than having weekly updates and you or your team potentially ending up with a burn out!

I definitely think an episode every 2 weeks is too long for a 2 hour long video. But I don't want you to get burned out to try to upload every week, unless it's short videos.
Yes, I like the cinematics! And yeah, definitely a big oops you didn't go to 1.19 to get the carry on mod but I don't think it's the end of the world. You can still upgrade your world to a newer version as we go.

Sansa's character has alot of enteral characterization in the books. The actress her self as said she doesn't like her acting in the first season. So your issue with her is probably a combination of that.

Just started one piece I feel like it has good pacing for building you don't really need to pay attention a feel but it is good to watch and I'll be here to watch 1000 more episodes
